The number of blockchain unicorns (companies with a market value of more than US$1 billion) reached 103, a record high.

The top five are Binance ($45 billion), Blockchain.com ($14 billion), Ripple ($11.3 billion), OpenSea ($10.6 billion) and Alchemy ($10.2 billion).

In addition, four former unicorns fell out of the ranking due to declining market value, namely Deribit, BlockFi, FTX and Genesis Digital Assets.

In terms of geography, North America has the largest number of blockchain unicorns, with a total of 58, followed by Asia with 19 and Europe with 14.
