Is there any point in diversifying in crypto?

For example, let’s say you bought alt coins 150 times. In essence, we diversified the risks. And then the hoba and cue ball fell by 10%. Every single one of these violas will follow him. Some by 10%, some by 50%, but still globally everything moves behind the cue ball. And there is no escape from this correlation; in any case, the entire portfolio will follow the cue ball

So is there any point in diversifying or is it better to just buy 3-5 alts, a cue ball, ether and a couple of shields?
