Cypherpunk Holdings, a shareholder of Animoca Brands, purchased SOL tokens worth about $1 million.

Former head and co-founder of Valkyrie Investments, Leah Wald, has been named president and CEO of Cypherpunk Holdings. She will replace Antanas Guogu in this position, who will remain chairman of the company.

Wald, as CEO of Valkyrie, oversaw the launch of several funds, including the first Bitcoin-based exchange-traded funds.

Based in Toronto, Cypherpunk is actively investing in the digital asset sector and has various investments, including nearly 3 million shares of Animoca Brands and $1 million in Solana tokens.
