Odaily Planet Daily News According to research by Ethereum Foundation researcher Toni Wahrstätter, about 72% of the data blocks released to MEV-Boost are now considered "censored", higher than in November 2022 of about 25%. This metric measures blocks assembled by MEV-Boost “block builders” who, based on statistical analysis, appear to have deliberately excluded crypto addresses subject to (U.S. OFAC) sanctions. Wahrstätter explained: “Block builders have the power to decide which transactions (and in what order) are put into their blocks, and which transactions they want to censor. This means that block builders can decide how the blockchain content.” (CoinDesk)
