🔒 The biggest vulnerability isn’t in the code, but in the people

The recent security incident at Binance is a wake-up call for the entire Web3 & FinTech industry:
* No matter how robust a firewall is, it can still be breached from within: A compromised personal device (DevOps) is enough to create an opening for malware to affect automated systems.

* The battle of speed & AI: Hackers withdrew funds using automated scripts in 20 minutes. In contrast, the infrastructure alliance’s emergency on-chain response (freezing more than $3 billion) prevented an even greater disaster.
* Zero Trust & Access Control: It’s time for CeFi/DeFi organizations to adopt uncompromising security practices — strictly separating development access (DevOps) from transaction approval access (Vaults).

Although SAFU has done a good job protecting users’ assets, to thrive in the long term in the AI era, “updating people’s security mindset” must always come before updating source code.
