✔️An exclusive survey by BitNotícias, using data from DivulgaCand/TSE, found R$ 1.002 billion in asset declarations related to cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, exchanges, digital wallets, and crypto funds among candidates for the 2026 elections.
⚠︎✎𓂃But There’s an Important Detail
Of that total, R$ 500 million comes from a “Community Token” that has not been launched yet.
Excluding this entry and other ambiguous statements, the most conservative figure drops to R$ 502.5 million.
📊 The Survey Identified:
» 320 declarations linked to crypto
» 162 candidacies
» R$ 119.4 thousand in stablecoins
» 33 declarations in crypto funds/ETFs
» Among the cryptocurrencies mentioned are Bitcoin▸ Ethereum▸
$XRP ▸ Chainlink Solana ▸ Cardano ▸ Dogecoin ▸
$SHIB and others.
🔥 And There Is a Huge Concentration
Two candidacies account for almost 99% of the broad total. The largest is the future token worth R$ 500 million. The second is a declaration of R$ 491.17 million in Bitcoin made by vice-presidential candidate Leonardo Avalanche.
Without that second major record, the other declared cryptoassets would total about R$ 11.34 million.
Stablecoins are also already present in the elections: there were 34 declarations across 30 candidacies, including USDT ▸
$USDC ▸ USDG▸ MUSD and Meli Dólar.
🔥 The Most Interesting Data Might Be Another:
✅ Crypto has fully entered the declared assets of Brazilian politics.
⤑ The question now is:
Does this show the candidates’ financial maturity, or just the inevitable advance of digital assets in society?
👇 Did you expect to see more than half a billion reais in crypto in election declarations?
