243 minutes—just barely hitting the cutoff. Is Binance Alpha studying user psychology? 😂
Lately, the Alpha track has gotten really competitive. Originally, doing tasks every day was already exhausting. These past couple of days, I’ve kind of just been slacking and haven’t paid much attention to how the points are changing.
Then today I saw that Squid (QUID) became the first platform to go live on Binance Alpha. The airdrop participation threshold is actually 243 Alpha points.
Right—my score is stuck exactly here.
Honestly, I’m a bit confused. This number doesn’t feel randomly set. It feels more like a precise filter that was selected after data analysis. If it’s too low, a large number of users can participate. If it’s too high, some active users will drop off.
Now Alpha’s gameplay is increasingly like a game of psychological warfare. On one hand, it raises the threshold to filter for genuinely active users. On the other, it keeps tweaking the rules to test everyone’s patience.
From easily earning points at the start, to now going into an absolute frenzy of competition just for a few points—Alpha isn’t just a simple “free fur” grab anymore. It’s testing who can make it to the end.
That said, the opportunity to get something for free is still pretty tasty. Getting qualified by hitting the cutoff with 243 points means these past few days weren’t completely in vain.
I wonder whether the next threshold will keep rising—or if they’ll give everyone another “just right” kind of surprise? 😂
