Is this a bull market or a bear market?
Now and in the future, Bitcoin will no longer have a fixed four-year bull-bear cycle. It can be said to always be in a bull market, or it can be said to always be in a bear market; in the end, there are only rises and falls.

In the past, Bitcoin's bull-bear cycles were mainly driven by halvings.
Each halving greatly reduced mining rewards, shrinking market supply, and providing significant support for prices. For example, suppose the total market supply is 1,000 units, with an annual increase of 200 units; after halving, it reduces to 100 units, which is equivalent to a 10% decrease in selling pressure, and the market naturally trends bullish. However, now the annual new supply has decreased to 50 units, and after halving, it only reduces to 25 units, having minimal impact on the overall market.

Since 2020, institutional investors have entered the market in large numbers, and Bitcoin is no longer an asset purely influenced by halvings, but is deeply embedded in the global financial system, highly correlated with U.S. stocks. It is no longer the white moonlight in the ivory tower of the past but a financial asset that has entered the market flow.

In the future: No bulls or bears, only rises and falls

Reduced halving impact + institutional funds dominating = Bitcoin has become a part of macro finance, no longer following traditional bull-bear cycles. In the future, Bitcoin's trends will resemble those of U.S. stocks, influenced only by market liquidity, macroeconomic policies, global capital flows, and other factors, with only rises and falls, no bulls or bears.
