Look at the yellow line, which represents the $LAB price, and the green line, which represents Open Interest (OI).
On May 1, OI suddenly surged much more than the price. The price only moved slightly, around $0.80, while OI increased significantly. After that, OI slowly started to decline, but the price remained relatively stable.
Then came the explosive move. OI and the price started moving together, followed by a major dump in both OI and price. After that, $LAB made one final push higher, but this time OI didn’t follow. That was an important warning sign. Soon after, the token collapsed from around $18 to $0.70.
Remember, we never open a position based on a single indicator. We compare 5–7 different factors at the same time. Only when most of those signals align do we consider entering a trade.
