This is not information to herd people or show off. Because I’ve lost a lot. This is only a very small number among the money I’ve lost. I took this screenshot to always remind myself that I have to move really slowly.
Making real money in this market isn’t easy. I believe you feel the same. With a small capital, you shouldn’t use big leverage or large volume.
Always remember that in this market, the exchange and the sharks are always hunting for us. Don’t assume that when flowers bloom, spring has arrived. The more excited we get, the more we need to stay calm.
I know these lines are for next month, and the year after that—I’ll read them again! #btc
‼️Summary with capital of 2000$ deposited into the account on 20/8 to date, which is 2/9. I’ve earned a profit of 1412$. Profit 70.6%🔥
I’ve drawn a few lessons from this: The market is extremely risky, so you need to manage risk by using Vol between 2% and 5% and leverage no more than x10 or x20.
We need to determine a stop-loss point, so divide into 2 DCA orders to optimize your entry. Remember: the better your entry, the closer your stop-loss point, which limits the risk of losing too much money.
Trade according to the trend on the D1 and H4 timeframes, then use smaller timeframes to identify the entry point, and look at the price action shown on the chart.
For example, at a certain time on the 5m or 15m timeframe, price often touches 10 and then rises to 15. Since D1 and H4 tend to be upward, you should prioritize setting 1 long order at 10 to 12 and take profit at 15—or you can hold for a higher take-profit target.
When you’re in profit, move the SL up to the lowest break-even point, either at your entry or slightly above (in positive). You might still get swept and lose money, but this greatly reduces the risk of a large loss to your account.
Take profit at a place you feel is reasonable—60% to 70% is fine. If you try to hold profit to where you want, but your account experience isn’t enough to do so, you’ll pay the price with an extremely large loss or even a blown account. I once made more than 10.000$ and didn’t take profit. When I saw the price moving against me, I kept nurturing the hope that it was just a pullback—eventually my account got wiped clean, 30,000$. #btc
