Short after the pump: a mechanical strategy based on 5 years of Binance Futures data Pump coins (+60–100% in 24 hours) almost always partially retrace. This isn’t a prediction—it’s statistics: I ran the strategy through the full history of Binance USDT-M Futures—831 coins, including 302 already delisted, from 2021 to 2026—and got a consistent, reproducible effect.
Here is the result. These jokes, I call taking the stairs up, and the descent by elevator. Funding, as always, didn’t let me down. Soon there will be an article on this topic and a product that shows it.
Well, I took some with my hands, the stop was hit, and I even ended up in profit.
If you took the short—congratulations

$TAKE The situation was a bit unusual. From the positive side, without any major drain, it was driven into an abnormally negative state. After that, the draining began. At the same time, the negative funding rate started moving in a positive direction, and the draining will continue. The cutoff is too long, holding a Long is risky.

one more trigger for a short with everything on $TAKE
watch the funding. right now it’s abnormally positive—shorts get liquidated. once it starts moving in the opposite direction (into the negative), you can open a short.
i’ll explain more in the next posts; this is another strategy tested on a 5-year backtest
For $TAKE . A good setup for arbitrage: you buy spot and short the futures for the same amount. Take the funding +0.2%. It’s a pity that the cut-off takes a long time to wait for.
This is what the deal calculator looks like. An ordinary HTML page that can be opened locally on a PC or phone. Below are the key parameter fields that are filled in based on your preferences.
Here are the first bugs. The take is not always set. And a couple of times it entered for a larger amount than was set. Overall, over the course of a day the deposit became 91.97$
We need to add more protection against hourly abnormally negative funding. Right now it doesn’t really affect things, but at larger amounts it will be painful.
