The Terra Classic (LUNC) community is proposing an upgrade to the network to version 2.0.1, which aims to bring the network closer to parity with Cosmos and Luna 2.0. The proposal, submitted by Lunc Burn Army (LBA), seeks to introduce improvements to the Terra Classic chain, including a review of the minimum initial deposit required for submitting governance proposals and an upgrade to Cosmos SDK v0.45.13 and Tendermint v0.34.24.
The proposal is currently up for voting and has received 99.30% votes in favor of the upgrade. If passed, the upgrade is expected to occur on May 17 at 14:00 (UTC), bringing LUNC one step closer to parity with Cosmos and Luna 2.0 networks.
