BTC is now sitting in a liquidation vacuum zone, repeatedly grinding around 81823.

A large cluster of long liquidations is stacked overhead between 83000 and 84500. The bright highlights and dense liquidity make this a strong resistance zone. Below, 80400 is where short liquidations are concentrated, making it near-term support.

Whichever way it breaks, the squeeze will follow. A move above 83200 will trigger a batch of long-position stop-losses; a drop below 80400 will liquidate shorts first, with another liquidation band below 79000.

Over the past 24 hours, $310 million in positions were liquidated across the market: $210 million in longs. Longs have taken the heavier hit from leverage being flushed out. The largest single liquidation was a $7.43 million ETH position on Binance.

CPI data will determine the next move: a hawkish reading could send prices lower, while a dovish one could prompt a test above 83000. High leverage is especially dangerous at this level.
