Good morning—let’s make a note of today’s market.

Over at AI, things blew up again: Gemini 4’s single-output just jumped straight to 1 million tokens, with input at $2 and output at $10—Google’s rebuttal this round is really tough. What worries me more is that Anthropic used GLM-5.3 to do red-teaming—open weights are enough to end-to-end write an attack program. The threshold for cutting-edge offensive capability has really been flattened.

Crypto triple whammy: MetaMask Staking infrastructure was compromised, and it directly caused an active exit from Lido validators; Bitget’s incident report has come out—third-party zero-day + internal identity + a custom withdrawal tool; Gate mis-sent stock dividend payments to BEN perps, triggering a thousand-times liquidation cascade—textbook-level incident.

Macro is the one I care about most: September’s QQQ +3.6%, while SOXX/SMH are up nearly +9%; SPY is only +0.1%. AI is the lone big winner—58% of S&P constituents are back below the 200-day line. Long-end U.S. Treasuries are up 5%+ and have set a 20-year high. The indices look great, but the breadth is terrible. BTC and gold’s 60-day correlation above 0.6 happened in 21 days over the past 21 days, with 17 days occurring in the most recent month and a half—there’s an increasing “debasement trade” flavor to it.

Among the smaller coins: $SOON doubled in a week. Phala’s TEE GPU war-investment project +80% in platform revenue, with buyback-and-burn—there’s a very full narrative.

No chasing. Waiting for the jobs report.
