Intel is preparing the first-ever processor with a frequency of 6.2 GHz out of the box. Core i9-14900KS has already appeared on the Internet

Intel has already introduced some of its 14th generation Core processors, including the flagship Core i9-14900K. Previously, there were no leaks about the Core i9-14900KS, so one might think that such a CPU would not come out. However, it seems that it will still be released, since the processor has already appeared as part of ready-made PCs on the PConline website

It also states that this CPU will operate at a frequency of 6.2 GHz, that is, 200 MHz higher than the Core i9-14900K and Core i9-13900KS. As with its predecessors, the new product will set a new record for frequency out of the box.

There are no other details, but they are not required, since the difference between the Core i9-14900KS and the Core i9-14900K will be precisely in the frequency and, probably, the TDP increased to 150 W.

The Core i9-14900KS may be introduced along with the rest of the Raptor Lake Refresh CPU line in early 2024.
