🚨 BINANCE ACTIVATES NEW ALERTS: 14 TOKENS LEAVE ALPHA AND 2 MORE COME UNDER WATCH
Binance announced two important changes users should know about.
⚠️ 1️⃣ 14 TOKENS LEAVE BINANCE ALPHA
Starting October 9, Binance is removing these projects from Alpha:
SUP, CUDIS, PYTHIA, BLUM, KIN, DN, GAIA, STRIKE, CDL, KO, VRA, EPT, SLX and CAI.
According to Binance, they no longer meet its selection criteria.
🔎 DOES THIS MEAN THEY CAN NO LONGER BE SOLD?
No. Users can continue selling or withdrawing these tokens.
⚠️ Leaving Binance Alpha does not mean being delisted from Binance Spot (the market for directly buying and selling cryptocurrencies).
🚨 2️⃣ BICO AND CVC COME UNDER MONITORING
Binance added Biconomy ($BICO) and Civic ($CVC) to its Monitoring Tag (a high-risk label involving periodic reviews).
This means:
🔸 Increased monitoring of both projects.
🔸 Higher-than-usual risks and volatility (sharp price fluctuations).
🔸 Possible future removal if they fail to meet Binance’s requirements.
IMPORTANT: BICO AND CVC HAVE NOT BEEN DELISTED FROM SPOT.
📊 WHAT SCENARIOS ARE WE WATCHING?
🔴 Risk: Binance announces restrictions or a formal delisting.
🟡 Monitoring: They continue operating, but under increased scrutiny.
🟢 Improvement: Binance removes the monitoring labels.
📌 OUR TAKE
Being listed on Binance does not guarantee that a project will retain its trading status indefinitely.
Not every warning ends in a delisting, but warnings should not be ignored either.
This is not about selling out of fear or buying on speculation, but about understanding what has changed and following official announcements.
We’ll keep an eye out for new decisions that could change these scenarios.
