📅November 2, 2026 | Data as of: October 30, 2026 close
I. Core Conclusion 🔑
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded ~$203 million net outflows for the week ending October 30. This headline is highly misleading.
- Oct 26–29: Four consecutive inflow days totaling +$441 million
- Oct 30: Single-day –$643 million outflow erased the entire week’s gains
The outflow was extremely concentrated in just three products (IBIT, FBTC, ARKB ≈ 88% of the day’s redemptions). BlackRock’s IBIT still finished the full week with +$177 million net inflows.
This pattern points to month-end institutional rebalancing or a large single redemption event — not broad investor retreat.
Sentiment stayed in “Fear” (Fear & Greed Index 34–37). BTC consolidated weakly in the $77k–$78k range. Short-term negative feedback existed, but no confirmed institutional exit trend.

| Week | –202.4 | First 4 days +440.8 |
Last-day outflow was 1.46× the prior four days’ cumulative inflows.
III. Fund-Level Concentration 🎯
October 30 Outflow Share
- IBIT (BlackRock): –$233.7M (36.3%)
- FBTC (Fidelity): –$201.0M (31.3%)
- ARKB (ARK 21Shares): –$129.5M (20.1%)
- Top 3 combined: –$564.2M (87.7%)
Weekly divergence
- IBIT: still +$177M for the full week
- FBTC: –$166M for the week
- ARKB: almost entirely the Friday outflow
This structural split is the key signal — not systemic bearishness.
IV. Market Effects 📉
- BTC dipped briefly to ~$76.3k on Oct 30 then rebounded; currently $77.8k–$78.4k
- Key levels: $76k support / $80k resistance
- Fear & Greed: 34 (Nov 1) → 37 (Nov 2) — cautious, not panic
ETF redemptions ≠ direct spot selling (in-kind mechanics + AP hedging). Month-end effect amplified the concentration.
V. Broader October Context 🗓️
- Full-month net outflow: ~$515 million
- 30-day rolling flow turned negative ($–292M) for first time since late July
- Macro pressure: hotter CPI/PPI, sticky yields ~5%, BTC trading below average ETF cost basis (~$82.3k)
VI. Outlook — Episode or Trend? 🔍
Monitor next week:
- Return to weekly net inflows → confirms technical episode
- IBIT stays positive → structural rebalancing
- Spread to mid/small funds + IBIT sustained outflows → trend risk rises
Baseline view: Month-end concentrated rebalancing remains more probable than systematic institutional retreat.
VII. Risk Notes ⚠️
- Tracker methodologies (Farside, SosoValue, etc.) can differ
- Flows are coincident/lagging dema
nd signals, not pure price predictors
- High concentration means a few large players can swing weekly headlines
One-line summary
The $203M weekly outflow is “headline correct, narrative wrong”: four days of inflows were wiped out by a single concentrated $643M month-end redemption day, while IBIT stayed net positive.

Trump Under Pressure. Institutions are Buying Insurance. Tucker CarlsonUnder pressure from Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the Trump administration may be within days of launching a nuclear strike on Iran. The target would be Pickax Mountain in central Iran, where Israeli intelligence claims the Iranian government has restarted its nuclear enrichment program. After decades of isolation, even relatively moderate Iranian leaders seem confused by how decisions are made in the West. (There is a widespread belief in Tehran, for example, that the United States government controls Israel.) But overall, people who have spoken to decision-makers in Iran say there is consensus there that more war is bad for everyone and a deal is worth making. One group that hasn’t been consulted so far is the global population — the hundreds of millions of people who will be killed along with their children if Trump is pushed by Netanyahu into launching a nuclear strike next week. Under pressure from Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the Trump administration may be within days of launching a nuclear strike on Iran. Send Everyone Home🚨 INSIDERS BUYING PROTECTION AGAIN BEFORE FINANCIAL CRISIS: INSURANCE THEN, GOLD & SWAPS NOW In March 2020, hedge-fund titan Bill Ackman looked straight into the camera and told America the brutal warning: Hotel companies are about to die. No revenue for 18 months. They’re gone. The only solution? “Shut the world down for 30 days.” Markets panicked. Hilton plunged. Ordinary investors got wiped out. Here’s what actually went down… Three weeks earlier, Ackman had quietly bought $27 million in insurance that would explode if everything collapsed. Five days after his doomsday TV appearance, he cashed that bet for a mind-blowing $2.6 BILLION. Fast-forward to today: U.S. 30-year yields just smashed to their highest level since 2007. Global bonds are in freefall. Oil is surging. And while the retail will be staring at the red screens, central banks are loading up on gold at a record pace and the real institutions are doing the exact same play again… Buying record credit default swaps, interest-rate swaptions, and gold hedges before the next leg lower hits the rest of us. It has reached to the point that Wall Street is now repackaging AI-debt and selling it to insurance and pension funds. The same happened prior to the 2008 crisis. Scott Bessent warned of aggressive steps to save the rising bond yields and had also called for Bretton Woods 2.0. JD Vance and JP Morgan CEO also warned that dollar will no longer have the reserve currency status in the near future. Same warning. Same quiet protection. Different crisis. #BinanceProcesses$4.65BWithdrawals #EthereumSurpasses$2300 #BitcoinSpotETFsPost$203MWeeklyOutflow #SouthKoreanLawmakerProposesReviewOfAllListedDigitalAssets #BrazilVirtualAssetLicenseDeadlineDrawsAbout40Firms
