TRON Academy: Connecting Blockchain with Knowledge and Real-World Applications
One thing I find noteworthy about TRON is that its activities are not focused solely on its ecosystem, but also aim to share knowledge and encourage discussion about blockchain.
TRON Academy’s collaboration with the Cambridge Blockchain Society and Oxford Blockchain Society to organize the niTROn Blockchain Workshop shows an interest in practical topics such as stablecoin payments and blockchain applications.
Stablecoins are opening up new possibilities for digital payments.
Blockchain infrastructure needs to be considered from both a technological and a practical perspective.
Education and community connections are also important factors in the sustainable growth of the ecosystem.
In my view, for blockchain to be more widely adopted, it is essential not only to develop the technology but also to help the community understand its potential and challenges.
That is a noteworthy approach reflected in activities such as the niTROn Blockchain Workshop.
TRON joins discussions on blockchain, compliance, and post-quantum security at INTERPOL NTF
On September 29–30 in Vienna, TRON DAO took part in the 5th INTERPOL New Technologies Forum, where experts from law enforcement, academia, and technology discussed emerging technologies and challenges in the decentralized blockchain environment.
On September 30, John Hurston, TRON’s General Counsel, joined the panel discussion “Future Usage of Decentralized Ledgers and Their Impact for Law Enforcement.”
The discussion focused on how distributed ledger technologies may evolve over the next five years and their impact on law enforcement, regulators, developers, and blockchain networks.
John Hurston also addressed the role of public blockchains in compliance and investigations, as well as the balance between transparency and privacy-enhancing technologies.
Another notable technical topic was the post-quantum signature support TRON has deployed on the Nile Testnet, aimed at preparing infrastructure for potential security challenges arising from advances in quantum computing.
These topics are becoming increasingly important as blockchain is used more widely in financial and payment systems.
OpenZeppelin expands smart contract security toolkit for TRON
OpenZeppelin has brought smart contract libraries and a secure development suite to TRON, adding a set of tools for developers building applications on the network.
Notably, the OpenZeppelin library has been ported to the TVM environment and supports TRON standards and components. Differences between TVM and EVM are adjusted to fit the network.
The toolkit includes audited smart contract libraries, a contract upgrade tool, Contracts Wizard, and many tools that support the development process.
The libraries also support components such as TRC-20, TRC-721, permissions, governance, and upgradeable contracts.
This is not a story about an application for end users, but rather the infrastructure layer for development and security behind the scenes.
By providing libraries and tools for TRON, OpenZeppelin gives developers additional audited components to use when building smart contracts on the network. Meanwhile, the code that each project develops independently remains within that project’s own scope.
As TRON’s ecosystem expands into stablecoins, payments, and other on-chain applications, the developer tooling layer is also an important part of the network infrastructure.
MetaMask is expanding its ability to connect with dApps across the TRON ecosystem.
According to information released by TRON, MetaMask’s connectivity with TRON has now been extended to some applications within the ecosystem, including B.AI, SUN.io, JustLend DAO, and BitTorrent.
Notably, MetaMask is not only being used to connect to the TRON network, but is gradually appearing across multiple layers of applications.
B.AI focuses on AI and AI Agents, SUN.io operates in DeFi, JustLend DAO is a lending protocol, while BitTorrent develops products related to Web3 infrastructure.
This expansion in connectivity adds another layer of interaction between MetaMask and TRON applications, instead of each app having to rely on its own separate connection method.
From an infrastructure perspective, this is a fairly noteworthy update: wallet → network → dApp is becoming more seamlessly connected.
Especially as the TRON ecosystem currently has many areas running in parallel, from stablecoins, DeFi to AI and Web3 infrastructure.
Within a month, the USDT supply on TRON increased by an additional $4B, reaching $94.27B.
According to data shared by Lookonchain, this figure has already surpassed the total USDT supply on Ethereum.
Notably, this is not an increase over just a few days. In just one month, TRON has added around $4B USDT to the network.
This continues to show the scale of stablecoins, especially USDT, as a very large part of TRON’s activity.
Previously, TRON DAO’s Q2/2026 report recorded a $89B stablecoin supply on the network in Q2. The latest milestone of $94.27B indicates that this figure has continued to grow since then.
TRON DAO marks 8 years of the TRON Virtual Machine (TVM).
During this journey, TVM has continued to be updated to support the execution of smart contracts on the network.
One notable new development is that compatibility with Ethereum’s Prague and Osaka upgrades has now been enabled.
This expands TVM’s compatibility with changes in the Ethereum/EVM environment, while also adding several improvements at the smart contract execution layer.
Viewed from the infrastructure perspective, this is a process of continuous development rather than a single standalone upgrade.
TVM’s 8 years are also 8 years of TRON continuing to update its execution layer in line with the blockchain industry’s evolution.
TRON officially surpasses 400 million account milestones. 🚀
TRONSCAN has just confirmed that the total number of accounts on the TRON network has officially exceeded 400 million.
A noteworthy milestone for a network that has been operating in the blockchain industry for many years.
400M accounts isn’t just a number shown on TRONSCAN.
It’s an indicator of the scale that @TRON DAO has built—along with the large amount of activity taking place on the network every day.
TRON is currently one of the blockchain networks with notable stablecoin activity, especially in the transfer of USDT and other on-chain digital assets.
As the number of accounts continues to grow, what’s worth watching isn’t only what the next number will be.
But which activities and applications will continue to be built at this scale.
400 million accounts.
A new milestone for TRON—and also a sign that the network continues to expand.
According to CryptoBriefing, the stablecoin supply on TRON increased by about $2 billion over 30 days, reaching approximately $91.8 billion in early August.
Notably, around 97.9% of the stablecoins on the network are USDT, equivalent to nearly $90 billion.
This isn’t just a story about one big number.
When the amount of stablecoins on a blockchain continues to grow, it also indicates that demand to use the network to move and settle digital assets using stablecoins is still being maintained at a very large scale.
TRON has now become one of the largest stablecoin infrastructures in the market, with tens of billions of dollars in USDT used to transfer funds every day.
And importantly, the growth rate hasn’t stopped yet.
Adding nearly $2 billion in stablecoins in just 30 days suggests that liquidity inflows are still expanding on TRON, rather than simply staying at the current level.
Stablecoins are playing an increasingly important role in payments, remittances, and cross-border settlement.
In this area, @TRON DAO is showing a very clear advantage: large liquidity, high on-chain activity, and relatively low transaction costs.
Data like this is probably far more noteworthy than a fleeting narrative.
Because in the end, the more assets and real activity a network has, the clearer its role in the stablecoin economy becomes.
TRON continues to expand its presence in education and blockchain community activities.
Recently, TRON DAO partnered with UNCB (University of Sydney Blockchain & Crypto) to host an event for students and the blockchain community at the University of Sydney, Australia.
According to the organizers, the program will focus on topics of growing interest in the industry such as stablecoins, cross-border payments, and the role of AI in Web3 infrastructure.
What stands out is that the content of the sharing session is not centered on trading or speculating in digital assets, but instead focuses on how blockchain can be applied as a financial infrastructure—helping improve international payments, increase the efficiency of value transfer, and open up new trading models as AI continues to develop.
These are also areas in which TRON has been conducting many notable activities. At present, the network is the blockchain with the largest amount of USDT in circulation, while also processing a huge volume of stablecoin transactions every day to meet global payment and remittance needs.
The appearance of @TRON DAO in programs connecting with universities and the technology community indicates that the ecosystem is not only growing in infrastructure, but is also actively involved in knowledge-sharing activities, fostering discussions on practical blockchain applications in daily life.
This is a noteworthy direction as more and more organizations, businesses, and educational institutions begin to approach blockchain from the perspective of technology and financial infrastructure, rather than viewing it solely as an investment market.
TRON has just been added to the S&P Pantera Digital Asset Index—a new index developed by S&P Dow Jones Indices and Pantera Capital for the digital asset market.
Notably, this index does not only evaluate blockchains based on market capitalization.
Instead, a variety of criteria—such as economic activity on the network, protocol revenue, and liquidity—are also included in the selection process.
Among the published list, @TRON DAO is one of the blockchains featured, alongside Ethereum, BNB Chain, Solana, and Hyperliquid.
A detail that has caught the community’s attention is that Bitcoin does not appear in the index. According to the index provider, it focuses on blockchains and protocols that have economic activity on the network, rather than assets that primarily act as stores of value.
By building an index in this direction, S&P and Pantera Capital show that the digital asset market is increasingly being assessed using multiple criteria beyond market cap or price volatility.
For TRON, this is a noteworthy update as the network continues to appear in index sets and tracking tools for the digital asset market.
🚀 TRON is rapidly approaching the milestone of 400 million accounts.
According to the latest data from TRONSCAN, the network has surpassed 393 million accounts out of @TRON DAO , and TRON DAO has just also reiterated this milestone with the message: 400 million accounts is only a matter of time.
This is not just a number.
Each new account reflects a growing number of users, applications, and services joining the TRON ecosystem.
In recent times, TRON has been continuously expanding its presence across many areas such as stablecoin payments, cross-border transfers, DeFi, and solutions that connect with traditional finance.
Alongside that, many key network metrics continue to grow:
- More than 14.6 billion transactions have been processed.
- The USDT supply on TRON has surpassed $90 billion, continuing to maintain its position as the largest USDT issuance network.
- An average of about 4.95 million active accounts per day over the most recent 30 days.
400 million accounts will be a memorable milestone.
But more importantly, behind those numbers is an ecosystem that is still being used every day and continues to expand through real-world applications.
🚀 Each new milestone not only reflects TRON’s ever-growing scale, but also shows that the blockchain is steadily reaching more users worldwide.
TRON continues to expand stablecoin infrastructure
Another positive signal for the @TRON DAO ecosystem
Recently, Eco has officially integrated the TRON network into its cross-chain stablecoin liquidity platform.
Through this integration, businesses and developers will have another option to build payment, remittance, and stablecoin-usage applications on TRON, while also connecting more easily with many other blockchains.
What’s notable isn’t just Eco.
It’s that an increasing number of infrastructure platforms are choosing to integrate TRON into their products, helping to expand the ecosystem’s real-world application capabilities.
The growing number of platforms that choose to integrate TRON also reflects the ecosystem’s appeal, as the amount of USDT in circulation on the network has surpassed the $9 billion mark.
This is a positive sign showing that TRON is not only growing in terms of user scale, but is also gradually expanding at the infrastructure layer—where businesses and developers build applications serving millions of users.
🚀 Each new integration may not be too noisy, but it adds another piece to help the TRON ecosystem become more complete over time.
DeFi on TRON has just made another new advancement.
Binance Wallet has officially integrated the JustLend DAO into the DeFi interface, making it easier for users to access products from the @TRON DAO ecosystem right from within their wallet.
This is a small interface change, but it carries significant meaning.
For DeFi to develop, users must be able to find it easily, use it easily, and access it easily. When barriers are lowered, the chances for the ecosystem to attract more users will also increase.
Through Binance Wallet, users can conveniently access assets such as TRX, JST, SUN, WBTC, and USDD, instead of having to search for each individual application on their own.
Notably, in recent times, TRON has been continuously expanding its presence through various partners and platforms. From payments and infrastructure to DeFi, the ecosystem is gradually being completed to serve more user needs.
This is a small update, but it shows that the TRON ecosystem is still expanding and improving step by step.
🚀 Every new integration is another door for users to enter the TRON ecosystem.
🎉 TRON Is Attracting Assets from Multiple Blockchains!!
Not only is it thriving within its own ecosystem, @TRON DAO is also attracting an increasing amount of assets from other blockchains.
According to data from Symbiosis, in June, TRON led all blockchains in both trading volume and the number of transactions on its platform.
Notably, USDT on TRON is also the most used asset on Symbiosis.
This indicates that users are actively moving assets from multiple ecosystems such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and BNB Chain to TRON for trading and for using services on the network.
This is not only a milestone in metrics, but also reflects TRON’s growing appeal in the cross-chain space.
With fast processing, low transaction fees, and a leading stablecoin ecosystem, TRON is becoming the preferred choice for many users when moving assets between blockchains.
As asset flows continue to pour into the ecosystem, it also serves as evidence that TRON is not only growing in scale, but is increasingly establishing its role as one of the important blockchain infrastructures in the market.
🚀 TRON is not only connecting blockchains—it’s also connecting the liquidity flows of the entire Web3 ecosystem.
The infrastructure ecosystem for developers on TRON continues to expand.
For a blockchain to grow sustainably, it needs not only users, but also powerful enough tools for developers to build and scale applications.
That’s also why @TRON DAO always highly values investments in infrastructure serving the developer community.
Recently, one of the infrastructure partners of the TRON ecosystem significantly increased the resource limits for the TRON RPC service, helping developers gain more processing capacity without raising costs.
This is a positive sign that the TRON ecosystem supporting developers continues to be improved without stopping.
As tools become even more powerful, projects can grow faster, scale more easily, and deliver a better experience for users.
Behind the growth of a blockchain is not just the number of transactions or TVL, but also the quality of the infrastructure serving the people building on it.
The fact that partners continuously invest in tools and services for TRON shows that this ecosystem is still expanding in a sustainable direction, enabling more new applications and products to be developed in the future.
A strong ecosystem always starts with a solid infrastructure foundation. And TRON continues to strengthen that foundation every day.
Alongside scaling the network, TRON is also gradually building a safer, more trustworthy ecosystem for users.
One clear example is TRON’s participation in the T3 Financial Crime Unit (T3 FCU) — a collaborative initiative aimed at promoting a more transparent and secure digital-asset environment.
With the message "Built Through Collaboration", this initiative demonstrates that cooperation among industry stakeholders is an important factor in strengthening trust and driving the sustainable growth of blockchain.
For @TRON DAO , this is not only about building a high-speed, low-cost network, but also about a commitment to creating an ecosystem where users and partners can feel confident to develop for the long term.
The message "Protect Users. Fight Crime." also reflects TRON’s direction in contributing to a more transparent, secure, and trustworthy blockchain environment.
In the context of Web3 continuing to develop, technology is a necessary condition, but trust is the factor that helps an ecosystem grow sustainably.
TRON not only focuses on expanding the ecosystem, but is also gradually strengthening the foundation so that it can thrive long term.
TRON Intensifies Connections with Top Global Students in New York!
TRON DAO once again confirms its pioneering position with an impressive series of activities in New York in June 2026.
Specifically, TRON participated in ETHConf (June 8-10) and hosted the TRON Academy Happy Hour powered by niTROn as part of the ETHGlobal New York Hackathon (June 12-14).
The event attracted over 70 students and developers from a range of prestigious universities worldwide: Princeton, Harvard, MIT, Yale, Columbia, Oxford, Cambridge, UC Berkeley, Imperial College London…
At the panel “Campus to Mainnet: How Student Builders Will Shape the Future of Blockchain,” TRON directly led the discussion on:
- Stablecoins and real-world payments.
- Cross-border settlements.
- The future of AI Agents + on-chain payments.
TRON is not just the most active blockchain (tens of millions of transactions/day, nearly 89 billion USDT), but it is also proactively building bridges with the next generation of global talent.
By supporting TRON Academy and connecting top-tier students with real-world technology, TRON is making a long-term investment in the future of Web3 – where stablecoins, AI, and blockchain will intertwine closely.
This is exactly why @TRON DAO is increasingly becoming the top choice for both developers and users: low fees – high speed – stability – and a clear vision.
TRON is not chasing trends. TRON is creating trends.
