I caught myself looking at the bStock price too often and automatically comparing it to the price of the underlying stock.
But one number by itself explains almost nothing.
If a stock is $200, that doesn’t mean the company is “twice as expensive” as a company with a $100 stock price. The price of a single share depends on the total number of shares issued.
So for me the correct order now is:
• first — the company’s market capitalization;
• then — the number of shares outstanding;
• then — the price of the specific instrument;
• and only after that — comparing the bStock movement with the underlying.
This is especially important to remember when comparing companies like $NVDA.US $ASMLB or $GOOGLB
The price of a tokenized instrument may look cheap or expensive at first glance, but by itself it tells nothing about how cheaply the business is valued.
Sometimes the most useful number on the screen isn’t even the price.
It’s the number of shares that this price is derived from.
