I see many people talking about the negative news regarding $CRCL, and I think everyone might have overlooked a layer.
The issue is not just whether 'stablecoins can still earn interest in the future',
but rather who is issuing it, where it is issued, and under what name it is issued.
The troublesome aspect of $CRCL is that the structure of Circle / Coinbase is too close to the US regulatory center.
Once rules start to strictly investigate 'earning income from holding tokens', this model is naturally the easiest to be targeted first.
However, USD1 is currently taking a different path.
