Awesome experience yesterday at the first day of the Binance University Tour Venezuela. Thanks to #BinanceLatam for interacting with the #BinanceAngels and the various speakers. It was a top-notch first day with a ton of info to digest.
Today kicked off the first day of the #BinanceUniversityTour in Venezuela, at the Andrés Bello Catholic University, featuring key players from the crypto ecosystem in Venezuela. It has been an extremely significant day for the #BinanceLatam community operating in this Latin American country, which is one of the fastest-growing markets in terms of adoption and usability in the region. The day began with a presentation by Leonardo (DoctorBNB), a representative from Binance, who delivered a talk focused on trading, cybersecurity, education, and adoption, highlighting the importance of #BinanceAcademy when starting out on #Binance. Then it was Alberto Cárdenas's turn, a notable figure in the Latin crypto market, who provided clear guidance on how to study the market when investing, buying, selling, etc., and without giving any investment advice, he shared useful tools for making investments. Finally, Prof. Aníbal Garrido took the stage, masterfully teaching the steps to follow when starting trading on Binance. His class covered everything from market analysis to cybersecurity. We wrapped up with a presentation from the #BinanceAngels, who explained what this group of talents is all about, as part of an international support network for the community, focusing on following up and addressing different needs that arise within the community.
Good morning everyone! Important info for those using or looking to use P2P, risks are out there but with knowledge we minimize and avoid them!!!💪🏽

🚨 5 SCAMS in P2P that could cost you MONEY 👀😭😱
Many think the only risk in P2P is buying high or selling low… but the reality is there are several scams that can hit your wallet even harder.
💡 Here are the 5 most common ones so you don't get caught off guard.
1️⃣ Fake proof This is one of the most frequent scams. $ The person sends you a screenshot or supposed proof of transfer and pressures you to release quickly.
⚠️ Never release based on a screenshot. Only when the funds are reflected in your bank account.
2️⃣ Third-party payment The name of the person transferring doesn't match the name on the order in Binance.
🚨 This could be triangulation or even a compromised account.
Aside from the risk of losing money, you could have issues with your bank.
3️⃣ Getting you out of the Binance chat They say something like: 💬 "message me on Telegram or WhatsApp"
⚠️ Major red flag.
If you leave the P2P chat, you lose the platform's protection.
4️⃣ Pressure to release quickly Some try to get you nervous with messages like: 💬 "I'm in a hurry" 💬 "I've already sent it" 💬 "release fast"
💡 The pressure is part of the strategy to make you mess up.
5️⃣ Chargeback or payment dispute In some reversible payment methods, the person pays, receives the USDT, and then requests a chargeback or dispute.
💥 Result: you could lose both the money and the crypto. $BTC $BNB $ETH My rule of thumb is 👇
✅ funds confirmed ✅ names match ✅ no third parties ✅ don't leave the chat ✅ don't release under pressure
💡 In P2P, it's not just about the price… your security matters too.
My one piece of advice if you're starting out on Binance is to not be afraid, but also don't think it's a walk in the park. Do your research, read up, verify, look for real info, and dive in headfirst.
First, be skeptical; second, don't scan or send private info to anyone; third, reach out to tech support yourself... Stay alert, the bad actors never sleep!!!!💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

🇻🇪 Scam Alert on the platform.
Hey everyone! Just stopping by to drop an important security alert about a scam trend that's been popping up a lot on Binance: The Fake Payment: Scammers simulate a USDT purchase and send a fake payment receipt (edited screenshots). The Impersonation: Right after, they contact you via chat or external channels pretending to be Binance Support. The Theft: They ask you to scan a QR code with your Binance app supposedly to "verify the payment" or "unlock the funds." DON'T DO IT! Scanning that QR gives them access to your account and they drain your assets.
It's crucial to stay on top of that info, check it out, verify, and do your own research. Let's go, let's go!!!💪🏽

🏦 "Take advantage! Binance has slashed fees by half for BDV this week". 🚀
The crypto ecosystem in Venezuela just took a giant leap. If you're trading on P2P or looking for options for your dollars, this is for you.
🤝 Strategic Alliance: Binance + National Banks
Binance has officially integrated key payment methods into its platform, making life easier for Venezuelan users:
Banco de Venezuela (BDV)
Banco Digital de los Trabajadores (BDT)
Banco del Tesoro
💰 The big benefit: 50% less in fees!
To encourage the use of these official methods, the platform has cut fees by 50% for those trading with these banks. Now’s the time to level up your trades and save real cash!
🔍 The truth about "BPay Global"
There’s been a lot of confusion, but let’s clear it up:
It’s an internal system: BPay Global is Binance's infrastructure that supports these direct dollar deposits and withdrawals.
It’s NOT an external app: Don’t fall for scams. You don’t need to download anything outside the official Binance app. If someone asks you to download a file to use "BPay", be careful, it's phishing! 🛡️
🛡️ Why use these channels?
Security: You operate backed directly by Binance and national banking.
Economy: You take advantage of the drastic reduction in fees.
Speed: Direct dollar transactions linked to your local accounts.
This integration aims to professionalize our market and offer real, economical solutions for day-to-day transactions.
Have you seen these methods on your profile? Let me know in the comments if you have any questions about how to set them up. Let’s keep building an informed and secure community! 👇
Good morning, it's crucial that you do your own homework. 1- Start with Binance Academy 2- Make some investments to get the hang of the market 3- Do your research 4- There's no magic here
