Samsung Wallet stablecoin accounts have launched for eligible Galaxy users in the US, starting with USDC.
About 82 million compatible devices; Bastion provides the account and transfer infrastructure, while Coinbase uses Prime Vault for segregated custody of USDC. Users can buy, hold, send, and receive; they can also transfer funds to eligible bank accounts in 60+ countries (funds arrive in local currency; fees vary by destination). Must be 18 or older and use Android 13+. New York residents are excluded. On-chain reports point to Solana.
Stablecoins have entered the wallet built into phones. Next, we’ll see whether eligible users can sign up and transfer funds smoothly.
Zcash NU7 activates at a block height: coins in the Sprout pool that have not been migrated cannot be spent through the normal path.
Mainnet activation height: 3543405 (around the morning of 11/6 Shanghai time). ZIP 2003: Starting with NU7, v4 transactions are prohibited; Sprout transfers can only use v4, so the remaining funds in the pool cannot be spent under the current rules. ZIP states that the funds have not been burned or invalidated; in theory, a future consensus change could reopen recovery, though it may also never happen. Media estimates put the pool at around 12,200 ZEC / roughly $16 million; refer to on-chain data and official sources.
Nodes and wallets must be upgraded for the new height; for holders of assets in the old pool, the migration window has closed at the specified height.
Anthropic hasn’t gone public yet, but valuation talks are already heating up.
According to media reports citing The Wall Street Journal, the company at one point had its sights set on an IPO valuation of around $1.5 trillion. After AI stocks plunged, some institutional investors called for a lower valuation, with some mentioning a figure closer to $1 trillion. Anthropic itself has no publicly traded shares.
On the same day, AI-related U.S.-listed stocks came under pressure, offering some context on risk appetite.
Hong Kong’s tokenization pilot now has a cumulative figure.
The Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau’s response to the Legislative Council: As of June this year, the Cyberport Blockchain and Digital Asset Pilot Subsidy Scheme had facilitated the tokenization of approximately HK$230 million in assets; 6 of the 9 first-phase pilots have entered commercial application. Applications for Phase 2.0 opened on November 2 (maximum subsidy of HK$500,000 per project; deadline around December 31).
The amount facilitated by the pilots refers to the scale of the subsidized projects. Tokenized funds/gold/ETFs separately approved by the SFC are tracked under a different set of statistics—don’t conflate them as the same figure.
Uniswap launches its first permissioned asset pool.
Groma’s GRO (a security token on Base) is now available on Uniswap v4 Permissioned Pools: only wallets that have passed identity verification (KYC) and been whitelisted can trade; issuance and redemption are based on net asset value (NAV). On Morpho, GRO can be used to borrow USDC, with an initial borrowing cap of approximately $5 million.
Real estate shares are now on an AMM, but access is subject to the issuer’s compliance rules.
Two things in Hyperliquid Strategies’ quarterly report should be considered separately.
First, a subsidiary applied to the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) to register as a futures commission merchant (FCM, an intermediary license that allows it to open accounts and clear futures contracts for clients). If approved, it could serve U.S. clients seeking access to the restricted HIP-3 market; the company stated that the timing and outcome are uncertain. An application is not an approval.
Second, revenue for the quarter ended 9/30 was about $13.3 million (primarily from staking and validator commissions); net income was about $621 million, mainly from approximately $803 million in unrealized gains on HYPE holdings. Operating revenue and changes in the book value of holdings should be read as two separate lines.
11/5 U.S. Market Close: Chip stocks dragged the broader market down another notch.
According to Yahoo Finance closing prices (U.S. Eastern Time, 11/5): Nasdaq 100 closed at 26629.81, −6.36%; Philadelphia Semiconductor Index closed at 9011.14, −12.25%; S&P 500 closed at 7353.73, −4.36%; Dow closed at 51523.06, down 1833.06 points / −3.44%. The IT sector also significantly underperformed the broader market that day.
Chip stocks fell harder than broad-market indexes, and the related pressure will affect sentiment on the risk-asset side.
Binance Recovery Update #8: Withdrawals are reopening in batches by network.
The official announcement says withdrawals for the listed assets will gradually resume starting 2026-11-05 04:00 UTC (12:00 Shanghai time). This batch covers about 69 network-asset pairs and 62 coins across six networks: ETH, BSC, BASE, TRX, MATIC, and SUI. Deposits remain open; even if a coin is listed, check whether your chosen network has passed the security and readiness checks. The withdrawal page and network status page are the authoritative sources.
Once you have a lot of agents, runaway costs and excessive permissions become problems before model intelligence does.
OpenRouter’s official blog: Teams with 10 or more people saw usage grow about 70-fold in a year, and the average organization had roughly three times as many active API keys as before. Guardrails now separate organization-level limits from workspace defaults; budget caps, model allowlists, and content moderation are split into three independent policies, so changing one person’s quota doesn’t require rebuilding the entire rule set.
Before putting agents into production, lock down the monthly budget and model allowlist. That’s more practical than chasing the latest model.
Coinbase’s inaugural global trading competition, Champions Cup, is underway: Nov 4–25, compete in derivatives markets, with a prize pool starting at 100,000 USDC and potentially rising to around 2 million USDC based on total trading volume.
The topic of agentic finance is also heating up this week: when giving trading agents subaccounts, how much access you grant will determine your potential losses more than which model you choose. In the competition, people are watching the markets; outside it, if you let an agent place trades automatically, first set what it can buy, the per-trade limit, and whether it can withdraw funds.
This post only lays out the competition schedule and permissions framework; it doesn’t recommend entering or call for trades.
Aave Labs, Veda, and Kamino have published a summary of the framework for decentralized lending and non-custodial vaults they submitted to the SEC.
They write that there is no counterparty at the protocol layer promising to repay users. Users continue to hold shares in vaults, curator powers are constrained by code, and assets cannot be withdrawn unilaterally. If a discretionary curator provides investment advice involving securities, fiduciary duties may still apply; that is a question of the curator’s status as an adviser, while whether the vault itself is an issuer depends on the facts and structure. The submission does not seek an exemption; it makes its case under current law.
This is the industry’s position, and the SEC has not yet ruled on it. The most practical takeaway for retail users: read the product documentation and check who can move your assets and whether there is a way to withdraw them unilaterally.
Which chain the issuer chooses and the official share ownership records held by the transfer agent are two separate things.
Bullish announced on 11/3 that its initial partnership network for tokenized stocks would include Solana, Aptos, and Ethereum. Previously, at a New York Stock Exchange demo, 61 million reserved BLSH tokenized shares were transferred on Solana and settled in seconds; Equiniti remains the transfer agent and holder of the official share ownership records. Bullish plans to reuse the capabilities on Aptos and Ethereum, but its public materials don’t give a specific launch date—don’t make one up.
On-chain settlement can be fast, but legal ownership still rests with the transfer agent. Before trading tokenized stocks, distinguish between the “proof” and the “ownership.”
After-hours earnings lesson: one soaring, one plunging.
AppLovin rose more than 20% after hours—Q3 revenue of about $2.18 billion and adjusted EBITDA of about $1.84 billion, both above Street expectations. That same night, Dutch Bros fell about 19% after hours, lowering its full-year EBITDA guidance; Zillow dropped more than 16%, with both revenue and guidance coming in weak.
Look at guidance and margin structure first; don’t focus only on after-hours price moves. Not investment advice.
Yesterday, U.S. stock indexes looked lively on the surface, but things underneath were uneven.
The Dow closed up about 1,569 points, or roughly 3.03%, at around 53,356. That same day, $NVDA fell about 3%; crude oil dropped more than 8%, with WTI settling near $88. As the broader market moved higher, AI hardware and energy were on the other side.
First, note the split in market breadth as a fact, without assigning a direction.
When companies deploy agents, the first thing they often lack is a kill switch.
At Fal.Con Europe, CrowdStrike unveiled the AI Kill Switch for Falcon Guardian: it first cuts off model access at the gateway, blocks restarts, and keeps an audit trail; endpoint termination is still marked “soon.” Hooks already cover common agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, and Copilot. On the same day, CrowdStrike signed an agreement to acquire Fiddler, bringing it into Falcon Observe for behavioral observability. The official announcement did not disclose the deal terms; The Wall Street Journal and others reported that Fiddler was valued at about $400 million, with Dreadnode bringing the combined total to about $495 million.
Before production agents can place orders or change inventory, first ask who has the authority to hit the switch—and whether they can restart afterward.
Base Denim mainnet activation window according to the official upgrades page: 11/5 18:00 UTC (11/6 02:00 Shanghai time). It has not been activated yet, so don't write that it is already live.
Block time will switch from approximately 2-second standard blocks to 200 milliseconds, or five blocks per second. Flashblocks will be retired, and subscriptions need to migrate to standard blocks and RPC streams. BaseTime provides millisecond timestamps onchain; if a contract still uses block height as a timer, it may inadvertently run about 10 times faster after activation.
Pre-activation checklist: Have Flashblocks subscriptions been changed? Have block-height timers been reviewed? Have nodes been upgraded to the required version? Verify against onchain data or official posts.
Single-stock perps can keep trading, but the lawsuit isn’t over.
CMA sued the CFTC, alleging it overstepped its authority by approving Equity Perps. On 11/3, a Manhattan federal court denied an emergency injunction, allowing trading to continue; in the same ruling, the judge found that the challengers were likely to prevail on the merits—the contracts look more like swaps, which may fall under SEC jurisdiction. The fight over a preliminary injunction is still underway: the CFTC’s response is due around 11/6, and CMA’s reply around 11/10.
Being able to trade ≠ the law is settled. Watch how the court rules first, then discuss how the structure should take shape.
Total revenue and reserve income were about $865 million, up roughly 17% year over year. Net income from continuing operations was about $226 million, up roughly 5%; diluted EPS was about $0.84. Adjusted EBITDA was about $317 million. Average USDC in circulation was about $73.3 billion; on-chain transaction volume was about $13.9 trillion, up roughly 49% year over year. Arc’s private token sale contributed about $182 million to other revenue. During the same period, the company laid off about 5% of its workforce and incurred about $9.1 million in restructuring costs.
For the retail side, break it down into two parts: how reserve income tracks circulation, and how much distribution and transaction costs eat into it. Don’t conflate Arc’s one-time revenue with recurring reserve income. No stock price predictions.
Progress update: approximately 98% of the affected amount has been replenished.
The remaining approximately 2% is being handled through the market and OTC, and the low-liquidity tier will take longer. The official statement remains that the company will cover it with its own funds, with reserves exceeding 100% of what’s required—this continues the old basis; don’t hype it as a new percentage.
The full zk proof will still take about 50 to 60 hours. Once it’s available, users holding coins covered in this round will be able to independently verify ≥1:1. Don’t interpret “snapshot is up” as “independently verified already.”
Binance Recovery Update #7: A new PoR snapshot has been taken.
The snapshot was taken at 2026-11-04 00:00 UTC (08:00 Beijing time). Coverage has expanded from 10 assets to 44, and Binance says the snapshot has been uploaded to the Proof of Reserves page. First, check whether the assets you usually hold in your account are among those 44.
The full zero-knowledge proof will take approximately 50 to 60 more hours to generate. For now, we can only confirm that the snapshot is out; independent verification of the 44 assets will have to wait until the proof is complete.
