On 24 September 2026, it was reported that Bitget fell victim to a major security breach. According to reports, assets worth approximately $387M–$390M were stolen.
A large portion of the stolen funds was $XRP .
About 103M $XRP, which was worth an estimated $157M–$160M at the time, was transferred to five wallets under the attackers’ control.
By 26 September, about 54M XRP ($83M) had already been withdrawn from three of those five wallets.
Two wallets holding roughly 20M XRP each were almost completely emptied; in another wallet, it dropped to about 5.8M XRP.
As a result, about 49M XRP, worth approximately $75M at the time, remained in the original wallets.
The transfers accelerated overnight, with the funds being distributed into new wallets. Some reports say that later part of the XRP was moved toward Bitcoin via THORChain.
The funds are moving on.

$LYN After hitting a 2x candle, it quickly dropped back down to the 10M level. If you’re wondering whether it can hold these levels, I don’t think it’s any longer reasonable to assume so for long. The project is doing poorly; it should be below this.
$NIL This was one of last year’s big projects and is currently trading at the 50M level. These levels are low for the project, but they’re being held due to a continuous cycle of token unlocks. So the decline can continue.
$BULLA It was previously inflated purely for speculative purposes. As a memecoin, it has no community or development. While there may be occasional speculative moves, I believe overall it will keep going down.

🚨 CIRCLE and TETHER have frozen—Stablecoin linked to the Bitget hack
Circle and Tether have recently blacklisted a wallet associated with a Bitget security breach, resulting in the freezing of approximately $318,000 worth of USDC and USDT.
However, most of the stolen assets still remain out of the reach of stablecoin issuers.

• Circle has blacklisted a wallet identified on Etherscan as “Bitget Exploiter 8”.
• The wallet held an estimated 99,990 USDC and 218,023 USDT.
• Tether has since blacklisted the same address as well.
• The frozen stablecoins are valued at approximately $318,000.
• According to reports, other wallets linked to the exploiter still hold more than 63,000 ETH.
• Stablecoin issuers can freeze their own tokens, but cannot freeze native ETH held by the attacker.

The key level I'm watching is $1.60.

By October 2, withdrawals are expected to restart in stages from September 28
