Before looking at ETHUSDT's decline, distinguish a rolling 24 hours from a calendar day
The rolling 24-hour price change for ETHUSDT on Binance Spot was -1.348%. According to Binance Spot data, when sampled at 08:05 Beijing time on October 26, 2026, the pair's latest price was 2324.72 USDT; the opening price for the same statistical window was 2356.49 USDT. Here, “24 hours” refers to a window that moves with the sampling time, not a calendar day calculated from midnight. Looking at the price range within the window: the high was 2371.52 USDT and the low was 2308.70 USDT. The latest, opening, high, and low prices describe different points, so a single percentage cannot capture every fluctuation during the period. Prices may also continue to change after sampling, so these figures correspond only to the snapshot taken at the Beijing time stated above and are not real-time quotes at the time of posting.
BTCUSDT slips 0.089% over rolling 24 hours; high-low spread is 1812.95 USDT
$BTC This snapshot of the Binance spot BTCUSDT trading pair shows a slight decline alongside a relatively wide intraday price range, rather than a one-way move. According to Binance spot data, at the sampling time of 2026-10-25 20:05:02 Beijing time, the pair’s latest trade price over the rolling 24-hour window was 80542.01 USDT, down 0.089% from the window’s opening price of 80613.71 USDT. Here, “24 hours” refers to a window that moves with the sampling time, not performance since midnight on October 25, Beijing time. Within the same window, the high was 81033.69 USDT and the low was 79220.74 USDT, a difference of 1812.95 USDT. Looking only at the -0.089% change from start to finish can obscure the price range seen within the window. However, the high and low do not indicate the order in which prices reached those levels, nor can they be used to reconstruct the full price movement. This illustrates both the purpose and the limitations of a summary snapshot.
ETHUSDT at 2347.05 USDT: Rolling 24-hour snapshot at 14:05 on October 25
According to Binance Spot data, the rolling 24-hour ETHUSDT snapshot sampled at 14:05 Beijing time on October 25, 2026, shows a latest traded price of 2347.05 USDT, down 1.256% from the window’s opening price of 2376.90 USDT. This records $ETH relative to USDT for this trading pair on Binance Spot during this time window; it is not a measure of gains or losses across the entire crypto market. During the same window, the high was 2384.28 USDT and the low was 2282.46 USDT, a difference of 101.82 USDT. The high and low mark the price boundaries reached, but this summary data alone cannot show whether the price reached the high or the low first, or how long it stayed at any given price.
BNBUSDT Rolling 24-Hour Snapshot: Similar Prices at Either End Don’t Mean It Was Stable Throughout
According to Binance spot data, the rolling 24-hour BNBUSDT snapshot sampled at 08:05 Beijing time on October 25, 2026, shows a latest trade price of 739.09 USDT, very close to the interval's opening price of 739.12 USDT, with a price change of -0.004%. However, similar prices at the start and end of the interval do not mean the price remained stable throughout. Within the same window, the high was 741.53 USDT and the low was 718.00 USDT, a difference of 23.53 USDT. The opening and latest prices answer the question, “How far apart are the two ends of the interval?” The high and low show the range reached during that period. These data do not provide the sequence in which the highs and lows were reached, so the full price movement cannot be reconstructed from these four prices alone.
Why ETH trading volume of about 375 million USDT doesn't indicate capital inflows
According to Binance spot data sampled at 20:05 Beijing time on October 24, 2026, $ETH /$USDT showed a latest price of 2365.46 USDT over the rolling 24-hour window, down 1.458% from the window's starting price of 2400.47 USDT. This is a continuously rolling 24-hour record, not the daily change calculated from midnight on October 24 or the quote at the moment of posting. Within the same window, the high was 2417.77 USDT and the low was 2351.55 USDT. Compared with looking at just one percentage change, these highs and lows add context about the price range reached during the window. However, they do not show the order or duration of each fluctuation, so the full price movement cannot be reconstructed from the range alone.
BTCUSDT spot 24-hour trading volume is approximately 919.69 million USDT, which does not equal net capital inflow
According to Binance spot data, the rolling 24-hour snapshot for $BTC BTCUSDT sampled at 14:05:01 Beijing time on October 24, 2026, shows a latest traded price of 80734.01 USDT, 1.298% below the window's starting reference price of 81795.57 USDT. This describes the change in a specific trading pair over a rolling time window; it is not the closing result for a calendar day. Within the same window, the highest price was 82060.88 USDT and the lowest was 80513.00 USDT. The difference between the high and low was 1547.88 USDT, indicating that the price did not remain at a fixed level during the window. However, the two endpoints alone cannot show how the price moved within the window or indicate what may happen next.
Understanding BNBUSDT’s 24-hour gain: start with the trading pair and sampling time
BNBUSDT rose 1.152% over a rolling 24-hour window on Binance Spot, but this is a record for a specific trading pair at a specific sampling time, not a gain for the entire market. According to Binance Spot data, a snapshot collected at 08:05:01 Beijing time on October 24, 2026, shows that the latest traded price of $BNB against USDT was 739.13 USDT, while the window’s opening reference price was 730.71 USDT. More noteworthy than the percentage gain alone is the range: the window’s high was 750.50 USDT and its low was 730.10 USDT. The latest traded price is below the window high, so a “rolling 24-hour gain” does not mean the price was still at the top of the range when sampled. These price figures describe different aspects of the same window; the high, low, and latest price should not be read as a continuous, real-time price movement.
BNBUSDT up 1.921% over a rolling 24 hours—not its gain for all of October 23
In a rolling 24-hour snapshot of BNBUSDT on Binance Spot, the latest trade price was 747.14 USDT, up 1.921% from the opening price of 733.06 USDT for that statistical window. This describes the price movement of a spot trading pair during a specific time window, not BNB’s gain over the entire calendar day of October 23 in Beijing time. According to Binance Spot data, this snapshot was taken at 20:05:01 on October 23, 2026, Beijing time. Within the window, the highest price for $BNB against USDT was 749.27 USDT, and the lowest was 725.62 USDT. Considering the latest trade price alongside the period’s high and low better illustrates the boundaries of this data than looking at the percentage change alone: different trade prices occurred during the window, but the snapshot itself does not provide the trading context in which they occurred or explain what drove the volatility.
How ASMLB and NOKB Dividends Are Distributed: Reinvested After Deductions, Not Paid Out in Cash
According to a Binance announcement, holders of $ASMLB and $NOKB will receive a cash dividend distribution processed through bStocks. “Dividend” here does not mean cash is paid directly to users: after withholding taxes, fees, costs, and other deductions are applied, the net dividend will be reinvested in additional whole or fractional units of the same underlying security, and eligible users will receive the corresponding bStocks. The announcement has not yet specified how many additional units users will ultimately receive. Eligibility is based on the holdings snapshot: users holding the relevant bStocks at 08:00 Beijing time on October 27 qualify for this distribution. On-chain holders receive bStocks dividends adjusted by a multiplier. The announcement also states that dividends generated by assets in other accounts will be credited to the Spot Account; this is separate from snapshot eligibility and the final distribution amount.
Understanding an ETHUSDT Trading Snapshot: First Check the Trading Pair, Timestamp, and Statistical Window
According to Binance spot data, the ETHUSDT snapshot sampled at 08:05:01 Beijing time on October 23, 2026, shows: $ETH 's latest trade price against USDT was 2,385.56 USDT, with a rolling 24-hour price change of -3.741%. This is a record for a specific trading pair at a specific point in time, not the real-time price when this post was published. The statistical window for this data is a rolling 24-hour period, not a calendar day on October 22 or 23 in Beijing time. Within the window, ETHUSDT reached a high of 2,482.49 USDT and a low of 2,360.32 USDT, a difference of 122.17 USDT, indicating that trading prices covered a relatively wide range during this period. However, the high and low mark only the boundaries of the window; they do not show the order in which prices reached those levels, nor can they alone describe the full intraday price path.
Binance to update tick sizes for 15 spot trading pairs; API users should check parameters
Binance will adjust the tick sizes of some spot trading pairs: according to a Binance announcement, the minimum price increments for 15 trading pairs will be updated by 13:00 Beijing time on October 29. This changes the smallest interval by which order prices can increase or decrease; it is not a change in token prices, nor does it mean any trading pairs are being added or delisted. These trading pairs cover TRY-, USDC-, and USDT-denominated markets, and each new tick size listed is one-tenth of the old one. For example, the USDT trading pair for $ANIME will change from 0.00001 to 0.000001; the USDT trading pair for $POLYX will change from 0.0001 to 0.00001; and the TRY trading pair for $RVN will change from 0.0001 to 0.00001. The change applies to the quoting rules of specific trading pairs and should not be applied automatically to other markets for the same token.
Binance Adjusts Rates for Perpetual Contracts Based on U.S. Stocks: Data from Affected Period Excluded from Calculation
Binance adjusted a funding rate calculation for TradFi perpetual contracts based on U.S. stocks: premium index data from the affected period will be excluded. Note that the announcement concerns how the data used in the calculation is handled; it does not announce the cancellation of funding rates, nor does it disclose the specific rates for any contracts after the adjustment. According to a Binance announcement, a major U.S. overnight alternative trading system (ATS) experienced intermittent network connectivity issues between 11:46 and 14:30 Beijing time on October 21. Binance therefore decided to exclude all premium index data from TradFi perpetual contracts based on U.S. stocks during that period from the funding rate calculation at 16:00 Beijing time on October 21. These two times refer respectively to the period when the network issues occurred and the time of the funding rate calculation; they should not be confused.
bStocks are convertible at a 1:1 ratio, so why don’t holders directly own the shares?
Binance has announced five new bStocks spot trading pairs. But before looking at the trading times, it is more important to understand that what is being traded here is not the shares of listed companies themselves. According to Binance’s announcement, spot trading for BOTB/USDT, BRKBB/USDT, KSTRB/USDT, TMFB/USDT, and VSTB/USDT is scheduled to open on October 21 at 20:00 Beijing time. The products are linked to company shares and ETFs. At the time the announcement was checked, this was still a scheduled opening time in the future, and should not be treated as evidence that trades had already taken place. Not all related services will be available at the same time. The spot algorithmic trading bot is scheduled to go live alongside the listings, while the rebalancing bot is scheduled to be enabled within 24 hours after listing. The announcement also says that within one hour after listing, users can exchange tokens such as $BTC and USDT for bStocks through Binance Convert under a zero-fee arrangement. The zero maker-fee promotion for the five spot trading pairs mentioned above is scheduled to run until October 31 at 23:59 (UTC). These arrangements apply separately to conversions and maker orders; they should not be summarized as meaning that every stage of trading is free.
Less Than $1 Isn’t Enough: Binance’s Margin Liability Cleanup Also Looks at Fund Activity Over the Past Six Months
Small liabilities in Binance Cross Margin accounts will soon be subject to a routine daily cleanup process. According to a Binance announcement, this will take effect from 00:00 (UTC) on October 27, 2026, and apply to accounts that meet both of the following conditions: their total outstanding liabilities across all assets are worth less than $1, and they have had no fund activity in the past six months. “No fund activity” does not mean that absolutely no actions have been taken in the account. The announcement lists fund activity as including transfers into or out of a Margin account, borrowing and repayments, and using functions such as Close Position, Close All Positions, and Repay All. Unfilled orders placed more than six months ago do not count as fund activity. To determine whether an account falls within the scope of the cleanup, both the total liabilities and fund activity during this period must be considered—not just whether the account has a small outstanding loan.
PM Pro adjusts tiered collateral ratios for assets including COW; first $100,000 tier set at 100%
Binance will adjust the collateral ratios for a group of assets starting at 14:00 Beijing Time on October 23. The changes are expected to take about 30 minutes to complete. They affect cross-margin borrowing and transfers, Portfolio Margin, and the tiered collateral ratios for Portfolio Margin Pro (PM Pro). The impact on an account cannot be determined by looking at a single percentage, as the same asset may have different ratios under different modes. According to a Binance announcement, under Cross Margin and standard Portfolio Margin, the collateral ratios for $POL , $SHIB , and XLM will rise from 50% to 60%, while those for $COW , NEXO, RVN, and SAND will rise from 10% to 30%. The collateral ratio is a parameter the platform uses to calculate the value of collateral assets. It is not the market price of these assets, nor does it mean that an account's available borrowing limit will change by the same proportion.
Binance’s Contract Tier Changes Are Not a Uniform Leverage Cut: Limits for Some Large Positions Raised
Binance will adjust the leverage and margin tiers for several USDT-margined perpetual contracts. The changes are scheduled to begin at 14:30 Beijing time on October 30 and are expected to be completed within about an hour. The announcement specifically notes that positions opened before the adjustment will also be affected, and that running Futures Grid bots may be terminated due to changes in the tiers. This change cannot be simply summed up as a “uniform leverage reduction.” Take the perpetual contracts for $APR and $AIO as examples: for the first tier, covering notional positions of up to 5,000 USDT, maximum leverage will be reduced from 50x to 25x, while the maintenance margin rate will rise from 1.50% to 2.00%. The maximums for some larger position tiers in the same groups will also be lowered. This means the changes affect not only the available leverage multiples; the tier your position falls into matters as well.
bStocks valuations update around the clock—but why could prices still change significantly after markets open?
bStocks collateral valuations will no longer depend solely on trading hours in traditional regional markets. According to a Binance announcement, starting at 08:00 Beijing time on October 24, its collateral index price mechanism is set to support dynamic updates around the clock. The change applies to the index price used for collateral valuation; it does not mean that traditional markets will also begin trading around the clock. During non-trading hours, such as weekends, holidays, and daily maintenance windows, the index price will be based on Binance trading prices and calculated using an order-book EWMA model. To limit unusual volatility during these periods, the mechanism also sets a price-movement cap specifically for collateral valuation. When switching out of this mode, it will transition gradually through a weighted blend of the old and new calculation methods, reducing the risk of a sudden price jump caused by the switch.
