The buzz around Agent ID has reached this .ai token
After Binance Wallet launched Agent ID, Agentic Inu (.ai) appeared on BSC. The name easily brings the official product to mind, but what I’m more interested in is: how much of a connection between the two can actually be verified?
This time, I found something concrete: the token contract’s nftContract() does point to an on-chain NFT contract named “SPACE ID Agent ID.” However, neither an address reference nor a name proves a partnership. In a read-only simulation, an address without that NFT could also receive tokens transferred from a trading pair, so the claim that “you must claim an Agent ID before you can buy” cannot be treated as a universal rule.
It now has a .ai/WBNB trading pool on PancakeSwap V2. Looking at the market, at 11:13 on October 21, the Binance Web3 interface showed a price of about $0.001148, a market cap of about $1.148 million, liquidity of about $125,900, and a 37.39% drop over the previous four hours. Over the same period, sell volume exceeded buy volume by about $18,400. These are snapshot figures, and market cap is not cash that can be sold at any time.
This data makes me more inclined to view it as a small-cap narrative token driven by the Agent ID buzz. The story may attract traders, but whether that lasts depends on future buying pressure and liquidity. So far, there is little evidence that this token is a required payment method for the official service or that it can share in related revenue.
Two scan results also shouldn’t be overlooked: the source code is unverified, and a third-party provider has flagged it as a risk. The contract reference offers one more research lead than simply choosing the same name; there is still a long way to go before there’s enough evidence to claim “official benefits.”
