🔥 90% of people misunderstand what CZ said.
CZ’s reflection on “In people’s affairs, trust fate; do your best and you’ll win in a laid-back way.” The more I think about it today, the more I feel that many people only saw the second half, but didn’t understand the first half.
True “laid-back winning” isn’t doing nothing. It means doing the right things.
Many people think “laid-back winning” is:
Not studying, not researching, not operating—just waiting for a sudden fortune.
But in reality, real laid-back winning is:
Diligent research, managing the position well, fewer trades, and a good mindset.
When CZ says “do your best and you’ll win laid-back,” I understand it now as:
Do your best in action, and let the results be.
Do the research that needs to be done, control the positions that need to be controlled, and avoid the risks that should be avoided.
After you’ve done all that, don’t let short-term price fluctuations and emotional swings lead you around.
What’s most scary is:
When you should be researching, you’re being lazy; when you should be patient, you end up trading too frequently.
Laying back in actions, but being more anxious than anyone in your mindset—that’s the real problem for most people.
What do you think?
Do you belong to “laid-back in actions, messing around in your mindset,” or have you started learning “do your best in actions, laid-back in your mindset”?
