There’s a security update from TRON 🔺 . TRON DAO says post-quantum cryptography is now running on the testnet. This means new-generation security technology is being tested in the network’s test environment. . What’s worth watching is that this isn’t just talk on stage—the technology is being tested on the testnet so developers can see how the system behaves before the next step. . This kind of work may not be as flashy as a new feature, but it’s an important part of preparing the infrastructure for the future. Stay tuned for more updates from the TRON team 🔻 . TRON DAO #TRON
TRON DAO states that TRON is the Title Sponsor of TOKEN2049 on October 7-8 at Marina Bay Sands.
For those following the ecosystem, this is an interesting opportunity—this kind of stage gives product makers, developers, and businesses a chance to exchange ideas in one place.
This time, keep an eye on updates from the TRON team to see whether there will be new conversations or fresh ideas coming out of Singapore ✨
Little TRON Bull wants to play the Transporter role, okay 🚗 . Not even before leaving the parking lot, he’s already standing there controlling the car with wide-eyed focus 😆 . Bring out your favorite TRON Merch to change the photo backdrop just a little, and you’ll get another fun angle too—has anyone taken him to travel somewhere before? . @justinsuntron @trondao @TronDao_THA #TRONGlobalFriends #TGF
The team that manages the TRON node has a new update 🔺
The TRON DAO has launched GreatVoyage-v4.8.2.3 (Anaxagoras) and stated that it is a mandatory upgrade for node operators so the node’s sync continues to work properly.
In this version, improvements have been made to access smart contract data, BN128 pairing, and the parsing of JSON responses generated by the node in certain cases.
The release notes include GPG verification for the JAR files, along with an upgrade and deployment guide for node operators.
Come visit and see balloons with my buddy TRON Bull, everyone 🎈 . This corner is filled with bright, colorful flowers, so I thought I’d bring my little one along to take some photos. . The real TRON collection—taking it out on a trip turned out better than expected. . @justinsuntron @trondao @TronDao_THA #TRONGlobalFriends #TGF
One more step for builders on TRON should bring a smile 🔺
The OpenZeppelin Contracts library and development stack can now be used on TRON, as announced by TRON DAO and OpenZeppelin. The development team will provide audited smart contract components, an upgrade workflow, and additional security tools.
On the OpenZeppelin side, it says you can start with the Contracts Wizard or an AI assistant, as well as integrate with Hardhat, Foundry, and TronBox plugins. One interesting point is that there are options for upgrading existing smart contracts without losing state, and it also supports sign-in with passkeys.
For the general public, you might not see the interface change in a single day, but tools that are familiar and widely used will help teams on TRON have a more convenient foundation for building and maintaining dApps.
This time, then, is news about foundational infrastructure that sounds technical but will affect the quality of what users will experience in the near future 🔻
Privy expands support for TRON, enhancing capabilities for creating transactions, real-time webhooks, policy controls, and asset transfers—so teams building financial products on TRON have more tools to manage back-office operations.
For general users, these features may not be visible on the screen right away. But once the development team has more complete tooling, there’s a good chance that the wallet and financial services experience on TRON will feel smoother in the next phase.
This time is another piece of the infrastructure that helps take financial product development on TRON further and more smoothly 🔻
Justin Sun Prize poses math problems to people around the world to solve in a verifiable way. No need to be famous—no age limit or institutional requirements. You can do it alone, with AI, or as a team. 🔻
The first set includes 66 questions. To participate, choose a problem from the official question library, write a proof, then turn it into a formal proof using Lean. After that, get it to pass on the machine and submit a Pull Request to the project’s GitHub. Once the system and the evaluators confirm it has passed, you become eligible to enter the prize review process.
The key point is that the system separates the credit for the person who devised the proof from the person who performs the formalization—because they could be the same person or different people. If the proof is accepted but Lean still doesn’t finish verifying, the status will be “Proved, pending formalization,” and the prize money will remain locked until verification is completed end to end.
There are 5 prize levels. The Pinnacle level is set at $1 million per problem that is closed with verified status. Other levels are determined based on performance. If you want to try, start with the official question library.
MetaMask users have more options in the TRON ecosystem 🔻
TRON DAO states that BAI, SUN.io, JUST DeFi, and BitTorrent already support MetaMask connectivity via each project’s dApp.
For those already familiar with MetaMask, this is another way to try services in the ecosystem through a more familiar workflow. Before connecting your wallet, make sure to check the official channels for each dApp completely.
Canary Capital has announced the launch of the Canary Staked TRX ETF, or $TRXS, in the United States. TRON DAO states that the product is now accessible through participating brokers.
The fund aims to reflect the spot price of TRX and incorporates the network’s Delegated Proof of Stake mechanism. After deducting staking fees, the returns will be reflected in the fund’s net asset value.
For those looking to access TRON via an exchange-traded product, there’s another option now available—however, $TRXS is not a direct holding of TRX. Be sure to read the product documentation thoroughly, as there are risks and volatility.
Allbridge states that USDC was transferred from Stellar to TRON totaling $275,000, split into 11 transactions, each for 25,000 USDC. And the TRON DAO also cites this case as an example of cross-chain connectivity.
What’s interesting is that this example makes it much more tangible how stablecoins can be moved between networks. It’s not just saying it can be bridged—it’s actually been used and shown in practice.
With improved connected routes, it helps users choose the network according to the timing they need with more flexibility than before 🔻
The latest figures from the TRON DAO say that after reaching 300 million accounts, it took just a little over a year to add the next 100 million.
The network has now processed a cumulative total of more than 15.2 billion transactions, with a cumulative transfer value nearing $30 trillion.
What I like is that this growth isn’t only driven by crypto enthusiasts. There are also creators, students, businesses, payments, and the community joining in—making the system feel increasingly alive.
So 400 million accounts is an exciting milestone, and it clearly shows how far TRON’s usage is expanding.
This event had everything—full house with a royal-style venue, an incredibly grand atmosphere, delicious food laid out on the table, and then the fun continued on the Go-kart track 🏎️
Full stomach, full heart—time to go full speed and have a blast.
Thank you everyone for coming together to create great memories. See you again at the next Meetup ❤️
TRON is opening voting on Mainnet for Committee Proposal No. 107.
If the proposal passes, it will enable features from GreatVoyage-v4.8.2 or Pyrrho, allowing TVM to support compatibility with Prague and Osaka more effectively.
The items planned include viewing historical block hashes, opcode CLZ, native secp256r1 support for authentication via Passkey, and adjustments to Energy usage of MODEXP.
It sounds like something under the hood, but for app developers, this is a set of tools that makes the development environment more familiar and offers more options. If the vote passes, TRON indicates that this change is expected to take effect on August 28 at 14:00 SGT.
The moment you see the phrase “wallet supports added networks,” it might sound like a small update, but this time it works really well in practice.
Bitcoin.com Wallet now natively supports TRON, so users can hold, send, swap, and buy TRX with USDT on TRON directly from the same self-custody app—without needing a bridge or downloading an extra app.
What’s interesting is that when you meet someone asking to receive coins via a TRC20 address, you can handle it in your existing wallet right away. It’s another option that makes using TRON smoother, without having to switch wallets along the way.
For people who like to control their own keys, this news is another door opening to make it easier to use TRON. 🔻
Hot Topic Summary: The Lawsuit Between Justin Sun and World Liberty Financial
Summary of the hot topics today: the legal case between Justin Sun and World Liberty Financial has seen significant progress in a federal court in California. The court issued an order to dismiss World Liberty’s motion to move the case to a closed arbitration proceeding and to seal the documents so the public could not see them. The judge ruled that all of Justin Sun’s specific claims must be considered only in open court. This is an important victory, because token holders should be able to see the truth about how the project manages people who trusted them.
