BNB Chain released the v1.2.9 version of the main network, which introduced the Plato and Hertz hard forks, which have been fully tested on the test network and are ready to be deployed on the main network. Plato is expected to deploy on August 10, and Hertz is expected to deploy on August 30.
BNB Chain stated that all validator nodes and full node operators of the mainnet must switch their software version to v1.2.9 by August 10, 2023.
