Trending on the hot list: “7 days +50%.” But the current 7-day candlestick chart is −21.6%:
$WLD —which set of numbers should you trust?
$WLD is now one of the hottest topics on Binance Square. Most of the content keeps repeating three words: AI, reduced supply, and a $1 shock.
But before discussing target prices, first align the time window.
As of 11:43 on July 29 (Beijing time), Binance spot WLDUSDT is around 0.2992, down 8.25% over the past 24 hours. Based on an approximation using the first and last points of the most recent 169 one-hour candlesticks, seven days ago it was about 0.3820, and currently about 0.2994—rolling 7 days isn’t a +50% gain, but roughly a −21.6% drop.
This doesn’t mean “reduced supply” is fake. World officials confirmed that starting July 24, the total unlock rate for WLD fell from about 5.1 million tokens per day to 2.9 million per day, a 43% decrease; among these, community tokens dropped from 3.2 million per day to 1.6 million per day.
The issue is: a slower unlock rate only reduces incremental supply. It doesn’t automatically create new buying demand. The price still has to digest existing holdings, profit-taking positions, and the market’s overall risk appetite.
So I won’t start by asking “can it reach $1?”—I’ll first look at three things:
1. Whether 0.299 can hold and stop the bleeding;
2. Whether it can reclaim the ~0.326 area, with trading volume to back it up;
3. After the hype cools off, whether real demand can continue to absorb.
If you’re holding
$WLD right now, what’s your core logic: the 43% slowdown in unlocks, the AI-identity narrative, short-term momentum, or waiting for a rebound after getting stuck? More importantly—what data, when it appears, would make you admit your judgment is no longer valid?
