BlockBeats news, September 24, according to TheBlock, Bitwise Chief Investment Officer Matt Hougan said that more and more top financial advisors are allocating crypto assets in their personal portfolios. Hougan mentioned that about 70% of advisors own Bitcoin or other crypto assets, compared to only 10% to 20% in the previous two years.
Although many advisors have not yet allocated Bitcoin in their client accounts, Hougan predicts that as advisors' personal allocations increase, client investments will follow closely, and there may be significant changes within 6 to 12 months. He believes this is an important signal of increased acceptance of cryptocurrencies in the financial community.
