$BTW Evening Recap: Two Steps Up in One Day; Volume Has Yet to Catch Up at the New High Market: Gate perpetual BTW is currently around 2.354, up about 24.7% over 24 hours, with a daily high of 2.365 and low of 1.792. Trading volume is about 31.47 million U. Funding is +0.005%/4h, and the perpetual and index prices (around 2.357) are nearly flat. BTC is around 81,457 (-0.7%) over the same period—this is its own move, not one driven by the broader market. Reviewing the pace of the day: At around 19:00 last night, a candle with about 4.83 million U in volume plunged to 1.606, the panic low of this move. At 21:00, about 2.88 million U in volume took it straight back to 1.88. At 00:00, it surged to 2.078, then got knocked back to 1.83. From the early hours through the morning, it moved sideways between 1.83 and 1.97, with only 550,000–980,000 U in hourly volume—a low-volume consolidation. From 09:00 to 11:00, hourly volume of 1.14–1.36 million U lifted the price above 2.0. It then churned between 2.01 and 2.08 from 13:00 to 15:00; the upper end was exactly the high of the 00:00 candle. At 16:00, a candle with about 2.68 million U in volume wicked down to 1.91, then closed back at 2.04 within the hour. This looks more like a leverage flush than distribution. At 19:00, volume surged to about 3.91 million U as the price broke above 2.08 and touched 2.284. At 20:00 and 21:00, about 1.7 million U each hour kept the price steady at 2.21–2.27. From 22:00 to now, volume is about 850,000 U, and the price has pushed to a new high of 2.365. A few takeaways: First, the structure is clear: the 1.83–1.97 and 2.01–2.08 ranges are two successive platforms, with each breakout confirmed by higher volume. Second, the move appears to be spot-driven. Neutral funding and no premium suggest it isn't being fueled by a pile-up of leveraged longs. Pullbacks in this kind of move are usually milder than in tokens with extremely high funding rates. Third, volume on the latest leg is only a little over 20% of the breakout candle's volume. The new high needs further volume confirmation to count. Levels to watch: 2.21–2.25 was the support zone from 20:00–21:00. Holding it keeps the structure of the second step intact; falling back below 2.08 would mean the breakout failed and price is being valued back inside the range. This recap isn't a recommendation to chase price; just keeping an eye on the area around 2.36. Looking back at my $ICNT post from this morning: it was at 0.2019 then, and I wrote that low volume looked like a slow grind higher, and to watch for support. But after surging to 0.2238 at 13:00 on about 1.32 million U in volume, it was knocked back. At 15:00 and 18:00, volume picked up on two downward moves to 0.1838 and 0.1811; the evening low was 0.1759. It's now around 0.1877, and funding has shifted from -0.093% to -0.114%. Support never showed up, so my “slow grind higher” call was too optimistic. Noted. This recap is for review only and does not constitute advice.
$BTW Evening Recap: Two Steps Up in One Day; Volume Has Yet to Catch Up at the New High

Market: Gate perpetual BTW is currently around 2.354, up about 24.7% over 24 hours, with a daily high of 2.365 and low of 1.792. Trading volume is about 31.47 million U. Reviewing the pace of the day:
At around 19:00 last night, a candle with about 4.83 million U in volume plunged to 1.606, the panic low of this move. At 21:00, about 2.88 million U in volume took it straight back to 1.88. At 00:00, it surged to 2.078, then got knocked back to 1.83.

$ICNT rose 50% overnight, climbing in stages. Around 10 o’clock, about 790,000 U pushed it to 0.2215 before it fell back to 0.20. Low volume makes it look like a slow grind upward; for now, watch how well it holds up.

$WLD Afternoon Notes: A volume surge at 16:00 lifted the range; this is now a digestion phase, not a time to chase Market: WLD perpetuals on Gate are currently around 0.539, up about 14.7% over 24 hours, with a high of 0.5463 and a low of 0.4622. Trading volume is about 24.25 million U. Funding is around -0.001% (8h), so longs are not particularly crowded. Over the same period, BTC is around 82,320 (+1.6%) and ETH around 2,469 (+4.4%). ETH is stronger. WLD is among the altcoins being picked up in the rotation, rather than following an independent narrative. Price and volume: For most of the day, price moved sideways around 0.50–0.51, with hourly volume of 300,000–400,000 U. One exception came at 11:00, when volume reached about 1.89 million U; price dipped to 0.4927, then recovered, looking like a brief shakeout. The real turning point came at 16:00: about 2.57 million U pushed price straight up from around 0.502 to close at 0.542, touching the daily high of 0.5463. That was five to six times the typical volume during the day. At 17:00, about 1.96 million U accompanied a pullback to 0.520. At 18:00, about 1.79 million U drove a rebound to around 0.543. By 19:00, volume had plunged to about 250,000 U, while price remained near 0.539. Structure: The 16:00 candle confirmed the start of the move. The 0.520–0.525 area is the first pullback zone; as long as it holds, the afternoon breakout structure remains intact. A high-volume break below 0.50 (the pre-spike range midpoint) would look more like a false breakout back to the original range. The 0.54–0.546 area above is a supply zone. Without another high-volume move that holds above it, chasing the move as a breakout continuation is inadvisable. Checking back on this morning’s $NEAR long post: I wrote not to chase, to watch 5.22–5.26 and the 5.08 platform, and to revisit the setup only after a high-volume move back above 5.35–5.44. It is now around 5.30, still digesting below 5.35 and holding above 5.08—so the “don’t chase” call remains valid for now. These notes are only a review of market action and do not constitute advice.

$NEAR Morning Meeting Notes: A second leg emerged on increased volume overnight; the morning session is consolidating, so it’s still not the time to chase highs Market: Gate perpetual NEAR is currently around 5.32, up about 10.1% over 24 hours, with a high of 5.4375 and a low of 4.5241; trading volume is about 51.2 million U. Funding rate: +0.01% (8h), so longs aren’t particularly crowded. Over the same period, BTC is around 82,290 (+1.0%) and ETH around 2,442 (+1.0%). NEAR has outperformed the broader market, but it’s still moving in line with overall risk appetite rather than on a fully independent trend. Price and volume action: Yesterday during the day, price churned around 4.53–4.76, then dipped to the daily low of 4.5241 at 21:00. The real turning point came at 22:00: about 4.54 million U in volume pushed price from around 4.58 to close at 4.945—more than twice the volume of most daytime hours. At 23:00, about 3.38 million U carried it to 5.11; at 00:00, volume expanded again to about 4.87 million U as price held between 5.08 and 5.17. The climb continued from 01:00 to 03:00, with about 3.35 million U at 03:00 taking price to the daily high of 5.4375. After that came consolidation: volume fell from about 1.82 million U between 04:00 and 06:00 to about 910,000 U; at 07:00, about 2.47 million U accompanied a pullback to 5.225, and at 08:00 price recovered to around 5.32 on lower volume. Structure: The 22:00 candle confirmed the start of the rise; 5.08–5.12 was the 00:00 platform, and 5.22–5.26 is the morning pullback zone. If price holds there, the overnight second-leg structure remains intact. A high-volume break below 5.08 would likely send it back toward 4.9 for repricing. The 5.35–5.44 zone is the overnight high area; without a high-volume reclaim, it shouldn’t be treated as a breakout continuation. Looking back at the 10-14 mid-thread post on $CNPY: I wrote that it was consolidating relatively firmly around 0.305. It failed to hold, and is now around 0.257; consolidation turned into a slow decline. That take was too optimistic—making a note of it. These notes are for review only and do not constitute advice.

$CNPY Up 15%; volume surged by around 200,000 U at both 3 and 5 o’clock, touched 0.327 at 6, then gave back gains at 7. Now at 0.305, consolidating with a bullish bias.

$Lobster Morning Meeting Notes: Broad market weak, small-cap funds enter a second leg Market action: Lobster is currently trading at 0.04662 on Gate perpetuals, up 17.3% in 24 hours, with a high of 0.04858 and a low of 0.03784. Trading volume is about 4.03 million U. The low was recorded at 8:00 yesterday, followed by steadily rising volume from 9:00 to 13:00, with hourly trading volume between 320,000 and 640,000 U. It surged to the daily high of 0.04858 at 13:00, then pulled back and traded in a low-volume range around 0.043 for nearly ten hours in the afternoon. Volume picked up again at 23:00 to about 270,000 U, roughly 2–5 times the level of the preceding hours. After midnight, it climbed back above 0.046 and is now about 4% below the daily high. Backdrop: BTC is around 82,990 (+0.6%) and ETH around 2,496 (-0.6%). Major coins are trading sideways, while funds are concentrating in a handful of small-cap assets. This is a typical rotation market, not a broad-based rally. Flows: The funding rate is +0.005%, with no clear long-side crowding. However, 24-hour trading volume is only about 4.03 million U, so the market is relatively small and a single order can amplify volatility. What to watch: First, can it break above the previous high of 0.04858 on increased volume? This is key to confirming a second leg. Second, overnight volume has already fallen from about 270,000 U at 23:00 to around 90,000 U at 1:00. If it continues to contract to the 50,000 U range, it will likely return to consolidation. These notes are for review only and do not constitute a recommendation.

$SKHYNIX is down 8.2% to 1102. The storage sector is broadly weak today, and this drop is part of a sector-wide deleveraging—not news specific to this token. Market action: Gate perpetuals are currently at 1102.18, with a 24-hour high of 1205.21 and low of 1069.11, a range of about 12.7%, and trading volume of roughly 59.33 million U. At 8 a.m., about 11.32 million U in volume drove the price down from 1156 to 1114. At 9 a.m., another 9.32 million U pushed it down to 1095. It then drifted lower, reaching the daily low of 1069.11 at 2 p.m. It rebounded to around 1105 in the afternoon, but hourly volume fell to around 2 million U, indicating weak buying support. Reasons: The whole sector is falling, with SNDK down 6.4% and DRAM down 5.6%, as funds pull out of the storage sector across the board. The funding rate remains positive at +0.0487% (4h), meaning longs are still paying to hold their positions despite the drop of more than 8%; trapped positions have not yet been cleared out. BTC is around 83567 (+0.03%), essentially flat, so this drop is unrelated to the broader market. Conclusion: The outlook is bearish; don’t try to catch the bottom. The 1110–1115 zone was the early-morning breakdown area, so a rebound to this range could offer a chance to open a small short, with a stop-loss at 1125 and an initial target of 1070. If that level breaks, the next target is 1050. Avoid chasing shorts on a low-volume rebound; wait for the price to return to resistance before entering, and keep the position small.

$ZEC Morning Brief: V-shaped rebound reclaimed 1,200, but overhead supply remains above 1,220 Market: ZEC perpetuals on Gate are currently at 1,212.05, down 9.35% over 24 hours, with a high of 1,348.5 and a low of 1,122.89. The range was about 20%, and volume was approximately 192 million U, making it one of the most heavily traded altcoins today. Yesterday at noon, a roughly 24.5 million U surge lifted the price to 1,348.5, but it failed to hold there. Each subsequent rebound made a lower high, followed by two high-volume steps down at 22:00 and 00:00. At 07:00 this morning, about 11.38 million U in selling drove the price from 1,198 to 1,157. At 08:00, another roughly 15.11 million U pushed it down to 1,122.89. Then, at 09:00, about 12.47 million U sent it straight back to 1,189. Volume tapered off as the price climbed to 1,218 between 10:00 and 11:00, then consolidated between 1,210 and 1,219 at noon. Cause: This decline was mainly driven by profit-taking in ZEC itself, not weakness in the broader market. Over the same period, BTC fell just 0.73% to around 83,410, while ETH dropped 1.76%. ZEC’s decline was more than ten times BTC’s, as holders who bought into yesterday’s surge continued to sell. The key issue is this: the sell-off at 08:00 created a panic low, and the high-volume V-shaped recovery at 09:00 showed that buyers were stepping in at lower levels. But rebound volume fell from about 12.47 million U at 09:00 to roughly 3.55 million U by noon—the higher the price went, the lighter the volume became. The funding rate is slightly negative at -0.0039% (8h), so short positioning is not particularly crowded and there is limited fuel for a short squeeze. Trading takeaway: I wouldn’t chase this rebound. The 1,218–1,230 range was where the decline began around midnight and is also today’s first resistance zone. If the price pushes into this area on declining volume, consider a small short position, with a stop above 1,250. The initial target is 1,190, followed by 1,160. Conversely, if the price breaks above 1,250 on strong volume and holds there, that would suggest yesterday’s trapped supply has been absorbed, invalidating the short thesis. There’s no need to rush into buying below 1,190 either; wait for a confirmed retest first.
$ZEC Morning Brief: V-shaped rebound reclaimed 1,200, but overhead supply remains above 1,220

Market: ZEC perpetuals on Gate are currently at 1,212.05, down 9.35% over 24 hours, with a high of 1,348.5 and a low of 1,122.89.

$FET fell 10% to 0.213, then saw a volume-driven dip to 0.2018 at 8:00 before recovering. Consider a small short on a rebound to 0.218, with a stop-loss at 0.223.

$SUI Morning Brief: The 1.00 Round-Number Level—Shorts Are Already Crowding the Door Market: SUI perpetuals on Gate are currently at 1.0006, down 11.07% over 24 hours, with a high of 1.1399 and a low of 1.0000. The range is about 14%, with roughly 23.63 million U in trading volume. Since yesterday at noon, when it hit 1.1399, each rebound has peaked lower than the previous one—a classic stair-step decline. At around 7 a.m. this morning, about 1.82 million U drove the price down from 1.0445 to 1.024. At 8 a.m., volume surged to about 2.29 million U, the largest hourly candle in nearly 26 hours, pushing the price straight down to 0.9999 and taking it below 1.00 for the first time. Cause: In my view, the main driver is still beta. BTC fell 3.28% over the same period to around 81,113, while SUI’s loss was more than three times as large. High-beta altcoins are among the first to be cut in a pullback like this, reflecting a contraction in risk appetite. But the divergence I’m watching more closely is in the funding rate: it’s currently -0.0133% (8h), meaning shorts are paying longs. In other words, with the price hovering around this round-number level, plenty of traders have already piled into shorts, and the short side is getting crowded. Trading takeaway: I wouldn’t chase shorts near 1.00. The round-number level combined with negative funding makes a short-covering bounce likely. The plan is to wait for a rebound into the 1.03–1.045 zone (the level from which the 7 a.m. drop began) before considering a small short position. Place the stop above 1.065, with an initial target of 1.00; if that level breaks decisively, the next target is 0.97. If BTC holds 81,000 and SUI climbs back above 1.045, this short setup is invalidated—I’d rather miss the trade.

$CTK 24h is up 29.7% in 4 hours, currently around 0.17. Over the same period, BTC is around 82,730 (-0.5%) and ETH around 2,531 (+0.9%). The broader market is almost flat, while this coin alone has swung more than 40%. On Gate perpetuals, the daily high is 0.1848 and the daily low is 0.1102, for a range of about 43.9%. Volume is around 1.18 million USDT, and the funding rate is -1.23% (4h). Perpetuals are trading at a discount (mark price around 0.17, index around 0.17809), so shorts are continuing to pay. Price action: It stayed around 0.11–0.13 for most of the day, then plunged to the daily low of 0.1102 at 17:00. The reversal came at 20:00: about 400,000 USDT in a single hour drove it directly from around 0.113 to the daily high of 0.1848, before it closed at 0.140. At 21:00 it pulled back to 0.132; at 22:00 another roughly 400,000 USDT pushed it to 0.150, and at 23:00 it continued climbing to around 0.17. Two large, high-volume bullish candles accounted for much of the day's volume—a classic sudden rally in a thin market. Reason: This wasn't driven by BTC; it was the liquidity vacuum created by that move at 20:00. The funding rate falling to -1.2% indicates crowded short positioning and a perpetual discount, but with the price already near the day's highs, chasing longs offers a worse risk/reward. Conclusion: Don't chase longs around 0.17. I favor lightly shorting a failed rebound below 0.180–0.185, with a stop at 0.192; first target 0.155, then 0.140. If it pulls back to 0.155–0.160 and holds there on rising volume, consider a small long, with a stop at 0.148. A high-volume break above 0.1848 would be a different story. Going in aggressively at the current price is effectively taking profits for someone else.

$SOXL 24h fell 2.27% to 136.74, while its inverse, SOXS, rose 2.53% to 35.26. QQQ was essentially flat over the same period (+0.01%), and BTC was around 83,434 (+0.54%). The broader market wasn’t weakening; the pressure was concentrated in the memory segment of semiconductors. Gate perpetuals recorded a daily high of 143.28 and a low of 135.56, for a range of about 5.7%. Volume was about 22 million U, and the funding rate was 0 (8h). Price action: From 11 p.m. last night to around midnight, about 1.6 million U pushed the price from 140 to 142.6. It then moved back and forth in the 139.4–143.3 range through the morning, touching the daily high of 143.28 at 7 a.m. The turn came in the afternoon: from 1 to 3 p.m., the hourly highs stepped down from 142.7 to 139.2. The 4 p.m. hour saw about 4.2 million U—the largest volume of the day—and the price plunged straight from 139.2 to the daily low of 135.56, closing at 135.96. It rebounded to 137.4 at 5 p.m. and is now near 136.7, with volume clearly lower than at 4 p.m. Cause: Breaking it down, memory stocks bore the brunt of the decline. MU fell 2.70%, SAMSUNG 2.87%, SNDK 2.30%, and SKHYNIX 2.05%. On the compute side, NVDA fell just 0.45% and AMD fell 0.70%, while TSM edged up 0.41%. So this was a rotation out of memory within the sector, not a broad deterioration in risk appetite. SOXL is a 3x leveraged ETF, so weakness in memory amplified its decline to more than 2%. The funding rate is zero, suggesting shorts aren’t crowded either; this drop is more likely due to position adjustments by spot-market participants. Conclusion: Don’t chase a short at the daily low. I’d look to lightly short a rebound around 138.5–139.2, with a stop at 140.2. First target 135.5, then 134. If MU and other memory stocks stabilize and reclaim 140 on increased volume, then this afternoon’s sell-off has been invalidated, and the short should be closed.

$NBIS After the U.S. stock market opened, it joined the AI computing-power rally. Up 7.3% over 24h, now at 252.0, near the daily high of 253.86. Market action: Gate perpetuals traded in a narrow 231–237 range throughout the day, dipping to a daily low of 230.91 at 2 a.m. Volume was very light afterward, mostly 50,000–100,000 U per hour. At 9 p.m., as U.S. stocks opened, volume surged to about 550,000 U, lifting the price from 237 to 248. Another roughly 360,000 U came in at 10 p.m., pushing it to 252.49. After testing 253.86 at 11 p.m., the price held around 252. The 24-hour range was about 9.9%, with roughly 3 million U in trading volume and a funding rate of +0.005% (8h)—longs are not showing clear signs of overheating. Reason: U.S. tech stocks are broadly strong tonight: QQQ +1.1%, NVDA +2.1%, SOXL +3.0%. Capital is spreading from chips toward AI cloud services, and NBIS is one of the more volatile names in this theme. BTC is around 86145 (+1.1%), so sentiment in crypto is not a drag either. Conclusion: The trend is upward, but it has already rallied for two consecutive hours, so don't chase. If it pulls back and stabilizes around 248, consider a small position; add only after it holds above 254. A break below 245 would indicate that opening-session capital is exiting—reduce your position and leave.

$GRASS is now at 0.8709, up 26.22% in 24h, while BTC rose just 1.06% over the same period (to around 83835). This strength is coming from GRASS itself. On Gate perpetuals, the 24h high was 0.8821 and the low was 0.6612, with about 2.9 million U in volume and a funding rate of +0.005% (4h). Price action: From 8:00 to 15:00 yesterday, it traded in a narrow 0.66–0.69 range. Volume picked up from 16:00, with about 70,000 U pushing the price from 0.68 to 0.7222. After 21:00, it climbed in steps, reaching 0.7609 on about 230,000 U of volume around 23:00. Between 3:00 and 5:00 this morning, it surged repeatedly: at 5:00, about 280,000 U took it to 0.8231; at 7:00, about 250,000 U pushed it to 0.8445; and at 8:00, about 360,000 U sent it to 0.876, the largest volume spike in the past 24 hours. It reached a high of 0.8821 at 9:00 and has now pulled back to 0.8709. Reason: BTC has barely moved, so most of the gains are driven by GRASS itself. Pullbacks have not brought significant selling pressure, and each dip has held above the previous step. The funding rate is only slightly positive, suggesting there still isn’t much leveraged long positioning. One thing to note: total volume is only about 2.9 million U, so liquidity is thin and the price can fall as quickly as it rises. Conclusion: Don’t chase the rally—the current price is just 1.3% below the daily high of 0.8821. Consider a small long position on a pullback to around 0.85–0.855, with a stop-loss at 0.83. First target: 0.8821; if it holds above that level, next target is 0.90. A break below the 8:00 low of 0.8287 would indicate this was a false breakout, so exit the long position.
