I lost 400,000. This painful lesson taught me that you must never rush when trading. Stick to the rules when entering a trade. Don’t rush to make your money back or enter trades recklessly, or your losses will keep growing. Now I set a stop-loss on every trade. I used to stubbornly hold onto losing positions until I had nothing left—just a blown account. As long as you still have your capital, there’s hope. I’m gradually learning to control my emotions. Trading really is a battle with yourself.
