Before the CPI is released, where is Bitcoin ranging around $64,000 waiting for what?As of the afternoon of August 12, 2026, Bitcoin is trading at around $63,675, with market attention shifting to the U.S. July CPI to be released tonight. In terms of liquidity, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded about $865.3 million in net inflows from August 3 to 7. However, net outflows on August 10 were about $144.6 million, and on the 11th only a modest rebound of roughly $7.8 million, suggesting that institutional demand remains, but short-term capital is more cautious. The U.S. July CPI will be released at 20:30 Beijing time tonight. If the data comes in below expectations, expectations for a looser policy could heat up, which would be favorable for risk assets such as Bitcoin; if it comes in above expectations, the price may test the support near $63,000 again.

The July stock raffle has already been sent out. It was originally worth 188U, but it can now be sold for 210. I don’t know if it was sent in addition or calculated based on the price during the raffle. #bstocks交易 #btc

NEWT Looks PromisingAfter playing around with cryptocurrencies for so long, everyone actually shares a consensus in their hearts: today’s DeFi is more like a bunch of closed-off financial islands. On-chain, we’ve piled up hundreds of billions in liquidity, and all kinds of lending and collateralization are taken to new heights—but the moment you return to real life and want to use your on-chain assets to buy a cup of coffee or pay rent, the steps are so cumbersome that it drives people crazy. In plain terms, what the blockchain has been missing is an “authorization layer” that connects crypto assets and everyday spending seamlessly—just like Visa or Mastercard. That’s also why, when the Newton mainnet (Newton Mainnet Beta) launched, many people in the community were keeping a close eye on it.

After playing with decentralized finance (DeFi) for so long, the most annoying thing is still turning it into cash for everyday spending. Every time I want to buy a cup of coffee, I have to spend half a day topping up and transferring. On-chain, it really lacks a card like Visa. Recently I looked into Newton’s mainnet, and its “authorization layer” is exactly addressing this pain point. In simple terms, it enables people to use on-chain assets for everyday payments just like swiping a credit card. If this wave can truly connect the underlying user experience, crypto won’t be far from truly going mainstream. Definitely worth waiting to see what comes next. #newt $NEWT

Ever since I got into Binance Alpha, I’ve completely lost my way back. I used to research how to order takeout for the best price, and now I’m just pumping out two iced Americanos a day.
