In a nutshell: a trader is still betting against the trend on an October rate hike, while holding short positions in BTC and the S&P 500. Bearish news isn’t so scary; what’s scary is using high leverage to bet that it won’t escalate. Ultimately, what matters is whether large orders are buying or selling. $BTC , up 0.3% on the day.
I’m not rushing to look for reasons. First, here are a few signals I’m watching:
First, the funding rate is still positive at +0.005%. In other words, despite the price getting hammered like this, bulls haven’t reached the point of collectively paying to hold on. If it turns negative, that’s when I’ll be more interested.
Second, only 5 contracts are on the losers list, and crowding is also marked as “low.” That suggests this is more likely an issue specific to this asset than a market-wide deleveraging across perpetuals. Those two scenarios call for completely different responses.
Third, I haven’t found any news that directly explains it for now, so I won’t make up a story. I’ll wait for volume and the funding rate to provide answers.
Being at the top of the losers list doesn’t mean it’s cheap. I’ll keep it on my watchlist and see whether it can stop the decline.
$OGN 5 minutes +4.61%. It flew up there while I chased from the ground—and all I managed to chase was a screenshot. If it can hold at a high level without pulling back, that suggests selling pressure overhead isn't strong. That's more telling than how much it has risen.
These are just opinions for discussion; you assume all risks.

A $WLD 24-hour high—the bears are starting to panic, huh? 🙌 Current price: 0.5175; previous high: 0.5126. A sharp rally doesn’t mean it can keep going; a healthy structure is what matters. Those of you who missed the move, are you planning to look for an opportunity?
One market move, one trade—whether it succeeds or fails, it’s just a drop in the ocean compared with the millions of trades in your long career. Don’t get carried away by a single win, and don’t dwell on a single loss. A calm mind is always a professional trader’s greatest weapon. When market movements and changes in your assets make you impatient, reckless, fearful, or anxious, you’ve already lost, whether you’re making money or losing it. The tides of the market will magnify your emotions endlessly, wear you down, and then deliver a fatal blow. Perhaps these setbacks mean little to the big players, but they’re still setbacks for me. At this point, the people I’m most sorry to have let down are my family. $ETH

$CRCLB 1 Hourly volume suddenly surged: 6.3 times the average, up 4.34%. A single high-volume candlestick is just one signal; whether volume can be sustained over the next few candles matters more.
🐋 $FOLKS 1-hour trading volume suddenly surged to 88.7 times the average, up 9.89%. Watching where the money flows is far more practical than predicting whether prices will rise or fall.

$TIA led the declines over the past hour: -6.1% Top of the rankings: 1) $TIA -6.10% 2) $IMX -3.54% 3) $ONE -3.07% 4) SAND -2.65% 5) PYTH -2.52% Technically speaking, after such a sharp drop, the price has deviated too far, so a technical rebound is likely. However, if the rebound comes on low volume, it will probably be weak. Anyone knowledgeable care to share their thoughts?
Comedy break newsflash: $US all-market account long/short ratio 0.94 (long 48.5% / short 51.5%). The bears are lining up, and I’m standing by watching. When most people pile onto the same side, once the price moves the other way, liquidations often get triggered in a chain reaction, and volatility tends to amplify as well.

Volume and price need to move together for the signal to be meaningful. If the price moves but momentum doesn't follow, be skeptical. Take this snapshot: BTC faces heavier near-term selling pressure. On Binance perpetuals, sell orders total $55.2624 million, $8.9551 million more than buy orders. $BTC . This has a less direct relationship with price; it’s more like a footnote on the market’s broader trajectory.
There’s a change in the chip flow: $龙虾 plunged 5.09% in 5 minutes When judging the quality of selling pressure, I usually first watch two details: · During the decline, is there a cluster of large sell orders? · After being pushed down to a low level, are there large orders stepping in to buy? Comparison: 24h trading volume was US$201 million, 24h +17.41%. If both are present, it’s mostly a shakeout; if only the first is present, be alert to further selling pressure.
