I knew it looked familiar—turns out it was @Nillion , the one that had its TGE last March.
As for the category, it’s in the privacy sector too!
Here’s a real story: did you see that wick at 10 a.m. yesterday? 😭
ETH plunged straight from 2,413 to 2,318 in an hour, then bounced right back to 2,380.
If you had a stop-loss set below, it was probably swept at the very bottom, and then you had to watch it climb back up.
It’s not bad luck—the problem is that everything on-chain is too transparent. Other people know your stop-loss and liquidation prices as well as you do.
Nillion’s approach to privacy is a little different from what came before.
Older privacy coins hide transfer amounts and who’s sending funds to whom.
Nillion hides what you “plan to do.”
Its core product, Covenants, lets you encrypt instructions like “sell if the price drops to X” and put them on-chain. Nobody can see them before they’re triggered, and once the price hits the target, they execute automatically.
A few practical use cases I can think of: 1. Hide your stop-loss so it can’t be hunted. 2. Seal auction bids so nobody can see them before the auction ends. 3. Schedule payments to transfer automatically at a set time.
The first version, Dusk, is already live on Ethereum mainnet—not a testnet.
But this is only the first of seven roadmap phases. For now, it only supports price- and time-based triggers. We’ll have to wait and see what the new version brings before the end of the year.
I picked up a little $NIL while I was at it—an old project with a new narrative. I’ll keep it on my watchlist for now 🤣
RVN has been consolidating between 0.00210 and 0.00250 since mid-September. This morning, a 4H candle moved lower, reaching a low of 0.00197, breaking below the 0.00200 support from mid-September. Open interest actually increased by over 20% during the drop, and the number of long accounts is also rising. The funding rate is only slightly negative, so plenty of traders are buying the dip. I’m bearish and will wait for a rebound to the breakdown area before taking action:
Entry: 0.00206–0.00212 Stop loss: 0.00218 Take profit: 0.00190 / 0.00180 If the 4H candle closes back above 0.00215, I’ll no longer be short.
Personal opinion only. This is not investment advice.
TIA is up more than 20%, but more and more traders are piling in to short it. Since last night, it’s surged from 0.48 to 0.633, leaving behind the 0.53 area it failed to break through on both 9/23 and 10/9, and reaching its highest level since last December. Open interest is up nearly 30%, while the long/short account ratio has fallen from 1.4 to below 1, and the funding rate is still flat. I’m not chasing it—I’ll wait for a pullback to 0.555–0.575 to enter, with a stop at 0.524. First target is 0.66, then 0.70. If a 4H candle closes back below 0.53, I’m wrong.
I’m not entering MAGIC at this level; I want to wait for a lower price.
Yesterday morning it surged to 0.1639, then a single 4H candle in the afternoon knocked it down to 0.098. Since then, the high of each 4H candle has been lower, and it’s now at 0.0982. The funding rate is still negative, so short positions are paying, but open interest has already fallen by more than half from its peak—it looks like both sides are pulling out. I want to wait for it to return to around 0.080, a level where it paused during the rally on the evening of 10/9.
Entry: 0.0785–0.0815 Stop-loss: 0.0725 Take-profit: 0.095 / 0.105 If a 4H candle closes below 0.074, I’ll skip this trade.
These are just my personal views, not investment advice.
During the hour starting at 23:00 last night, MBL surged from 0.000758 to 0.001381. It’s now at 0.000947, giving back most of its gains.
Each rebound since then has been lower than the last: 0.001260, 0.001100, and 0.001060, with volume also declining. After such a sharp rally, I’d rather see it return to its previous trading range, where it moved sideways at 0.000720–0.000860 for the three weeks before that.
I’ll wait for it to return to 0.000850–0.000880 before adding a little spot. That was the high it failed to break through several times in late September. I’ll keep the position small, set a stop-loss at 0.000805, and look first for 0.000980, then 0.001100. If a 4H candle closes below 0.000810, I’m out.
I just saw some data: $ETH ’s exchange balance has fallen to its lowest level in years.
Put simply, there are fewer coins sitting on exchanges ready to be sold.
That doesn’t necessarily mean prices will rise right away, but it does show one thing: quite a few people have withdrawn their coins and aren’t planning to sell at this price.
They may be staking them, or moving them to cold wallets to hold.
Either way, the result is the same: there’s less supply on the market that can be dumped at any moment.
That’s the exact opposite of what we saw last year, when exchange balances kept rising. Back then, everyone seemed to be lining up to sell. Now it looks more like people are locking their coins away and sitting tight.
I think this signal is more meaningful than looking at the candlestick chart alone. You can draw whatever you want on a chart; it’s harder to fake on-chain balances.
Of course, don’t get carried away. Low balances don’t mean prices will shoot up immediately. If demand doesn’t follow, prices could still move sideways for a long time.
My take: cautiously bullish, but I’m not chasing. If you want to keep an eye on things, watch whether exchange balances keep falling and whether spot buying can pick up.
If the money stays on the sidelines, withdrawals alone won’t take us far.
RAY has been pushed back every time it surged to 2.53–2.57 over the past three days, but each pullback has stopped above 2.20. It was still at 1.40 in mid-September, so this uptrend remains intact. Funding rates have turned negative over the past two days, there are more short accounts than long accounts, and open interest hasn’t changed much. I think more people are trying to short near the top, rather than longs closing their positions. At 2.30, it’s stuck in the middle. I won’t chase it; I’ll wait for it to return to the bottom of the range before entering.
Entry: 2.20–2.24 Stop loss: 2.13 Take profit: 2.45 / 2.55 If the 4H candle closes below 2.15, the range has broken down.
