If history repeats itself, we’re going to get ridiculously rich. Stay patient, trust your analysis, and don’t sell your bags prematurely. Wait for strong, undeniable confirmation before making any major moves. Patience and conviction are what separate those who capture the full cycle from those who exit too early.
Let me tell you about one of the most costly mistakes traders make in the market. And honestly, many traders don’t even realize they’re doing it.
Your timeframe should control your trade.
Think about this for a moment. You enter a trade based on a five-minute chart. Your setup is short-term, your target is clear, and you know exactly where you should exit if the trade goes against you.
But then the market moves against you. You start feeling uncomfortable. Instead of accepting the loss, you switch to the one-hour chart, then maybe the four-hour chart, looking for a reason to keep holding that position.
And just like that, what was supposed to be a short-term trade becomes a long-term hold.
Sound familiar?
The same thing happens to swing traders. They enter a position based on a larger timeframe, but when the price moves against them for a few candles, they panic and exit. They abandon a perfectly valid setup because of short-term market noise.
This is where discipline really matters.
Before you enter any trade, you need to know three things: What is your trading timeframe? At what level is your trade invalidated? And what are your exit rules?
You need to define these things before entering the market, not after your emotions start taking control.
Because once you're in a trade, your job isn't to keep changing your analysis until the market gives you the answer you want. Your job is to follow the plan you created when you were thinking clearly.
Remember, traders, the market doesn't care about your entry price, your hopes, or your emotions.
Your timeframe defines the trade. Your invalidation level defines when you're wrong. And your plan defines how you manage the position.
So, the next time you enter a trade, ask yourself one simple question: Am I managing this position according to my strategy, or am I changing my strategy because I don't want to take a loss?
Think about that. Because in trading, discipline isn't just about knowing when to enter. It's also about having the discipline to manage the trade exactly as planned.
Hackers Increasingly Move Stolen Funds Into Zcash (ZEC)
On-chain analyst Specter reports that funds linked to multiple crypto thefts, including the Bitget breach, the Cryptobills Ledger incident, and the $12 million Triple-A hack, have been moved into Zcash (ZEC).
The findings follow ZachXBT’s tracking of Bitget-linked funds entering Zcash’s privacy pool, which obscures transaction details.
However, the amounts linked to the other incidents remain undisclosed, and those transfers have not been independently confirmed.
