$BTC , $ETH & $SOL are pumping hard
but is this fresh demand or a massive short squeeze? ๐
BTC is up around 5.47%, ETH 5.94% and SOL 7.14% on my charts.
The interesting part is what happened behind the move.
Bitcoin pushed above $84K today and around $262M in BTC shorts were liquidated in just one hour.
So yes, there is buying coming in, but forced short closures are also adding fuel to the move.
At the same time, the wider market is risk-on today. Oil prices are falling and global equities are also moving higher, which is helping risk assets.
For me the big question now is simple:
Can BTC, ETH and SOL hold these breakout levels after the short squeeze cools down?
If they hold, this move can start looking more like real demand instead of only leverage getting wiped out.
I am watching the next few candles closely.
