🔍 Web3 has an identity problem that wallet addresses alone can’t solve.
A wallet can prove control of a key. It doesn’t prove there is one unique human behind it.
That distinction becomes important when a network wants to distribute access, rewards or influence across real people.
InterLink approaches this through Proof of Personhood, using verification to make duplicate identities and Sybil behavior harder. At the same time, certain features can require KYC, bringing identity checks into fraud prevention and regulatory compliance.
I think the difficult part is balancing all of this:
Keep participation accessible.
Keep bots and duplicate identities out.
Meet compliance requirements.
And expose as little sensitive data as possible.
That’s a much harder problem than simply asking users to “verify.”
