Big news! The SEC is going to overhaul the old rules that have been around for more than 40 years. This time, it’s directly giving the green light to on-chain accounting and tokenized securities. You should know that these transfer-agency rules haven’t really been updated since the 1980s. Now, the official side is openly recognizing blockchain infrastructure—basically telling you plainly that the move of traditional securities onto the blockchain is a done deal. Regulators are shifting from roadblocks to paving the way. The RWA sector will likely get another round of policy tailwinds. In the short term, keep a close watch on volatility in related concept coins. In the long run, the “tokenized securities” pie will only get bigger, and the channel for institutional capital to enter is being opened up. $ONDO $LINK #RWA #SEC

SEC means business this time—on September 17, an official “24-hour trading” roundtable will be held, bringing exchanges, brokers, market makers, and clearing institutions together to align. #24hourstrading Just look at the roster to know how much weight this carries: Robinhood, NYSE, BlackRock, Nasdaq, the Chicago Board Options Exchange, Virtu, Jane Street, Citadel Securities, and DTCC all in attendance. The agenda has three tough nuts to crack: whether the system can handle operations around the clock, how overnight monitoring and cybersecurity will be covered as a fallback, and what exactly the impact will be on liquidity and capital formation after scaling up. For the crypto market, the signal is very clear: traditional finance is moving toward “always-on trading,” and this road—$BTC and on-chain assets—has been traveled for a long time already. When U.S. stocks also start to match 24-hour trading, the logic behind cross-asset arbitrage, capital efficiency, and risk management will all be rewritten. The entire meeting will be open to the public and livestreamed online. Starting at 22:00 Beijing time on September 17, it’s definitely worth watching. #SEC

Wall Street is finally going to “copy the homework” in crypto! The SEC has officially announced a 24-hour trading roundtable on September 17. The agenda and guest list are all published, specifically to discuss how U.S. stocks can run 24/7 trading. You should know that 7×24 has always been standard for the crypto market—Bitcoin never sleeps. Now traditional finance can’t sit still either and wants to keep up with the pace. This is a real, tangible win for crypto: once U.S. stocks achieve 24-hour trading, BTC and ETH spot ETFs can also be traded all day long, with smoother fund inflows and outflows. Late-night sell-offs won’t require waiting for the market to open anymore. The boundary between traditional finance and crypto is getting increasingly blurred. This big convergence trend is here to stay. #SEC #24小时交易 $BTC $ETH

The SEC wants to get involved in how transfer agents work. They published an agenda to organize a panel discussion on continuous trading. What’s interesting is that the proposal includes changes with direct implications for blockchain. It seems they’re trying to adapt the rules to the 24-hour market. Do you think this makes things easier or more complicated? $BTC #SEC #Blockchain

SEC suddenly held a 24-hour stock trading roundtable, with a roster of all the top players on Wall Street—BlackRock, Citadel, Robinhood are all in. This isn’t really a discussion; it’s more like a preemptive bell-ringing for the crypto market. Traditional markets are getting pulled into 24-hour trading—meaning BTC’s unique advantage of “always-on trading” is about to get cut in half. The pool of institutional capital is only so big. If US stock market night sessions drain away liquidity, the crypto market has to watch the US stock market’s mood. Either you join the hype, or you get bled. There’s no third option. $BTC #SEC #24 hour trading

Traditional finance blew up again! The SEC has just sued two executives of the San Francisco Bay Area private fund PPMG. The CEO and COO teamed up to run a multi-million-dollar Ponzi scheme, leaving investors with nothing but losses. The old-money folks who keep saying “the crypto world is a scam”—their own backyard caught fire first 🤡 This wave is actually a plus for the crypto space: regulatory firepower is aimed at TradFi bad actors, showing that the SEC is getting back to doing its job. When conventional wealth management is no longer “safe,” smart money will only accelerate into assets like BTC—on-chain, transparent, and always verifiable. Capital rotation is already on the way—don’t wait until it’s up to smack your own forehead. #SEC #庞氏骗局 $BTC

The SEC has just proposed a major update to its rules to officially integrate blockchain and tokenized securities. Transfer agents could soon use the blockchain as the official register of ownership for securities, and would be required to report their exposure to tokenized assets. This is an unprecedented institutional acknowledgment that could open the floodgates of traditional capital into crypto. BTC remains under pressure at 77 474 $ (-1.72%) and ETH at 2 421 $ (-2.01%), but this kind of positive regulatory signal could change the game in the medium term. Do you think the tokenization of listed securities will become the next major catalyst for the crypto market? #Tokenisation #SEC

SEC made it plain this time. At the September 17 roundtable, the agenda went from overnight trading mechanisms all the way to: should tokenized stocks on blockchain move forward into the regulated U.S. stock market? The answer isn’t set, but the question itself has already changed. In offshore and crypto venues, tokenized stocks have been trading 24/7—yet outside U.S. market hours, there are no live reference prices for the underlying. The same stock may be quoted simultaneously at two or three different prices. SEC Chair Atkins calls it the new day and new night for U.S. equities. The meeting also put forward the idea of an innovation exemption: open a limited channel for testing on-chain securities, so tokenization can get running without having to wait indefinitely for legislation that’s still stuck. The background numbers are on the table: the tokenized stock market size surged to about $1.89 billion in July, nearly doubling from March; and perpetual contracts tied to such assets saw quarterly trading volumes exceed $500 billion. The hands of the clock are being reset. #SEC #代币化股票 #BTC #ETH

SEC took action! Today proposed comprehensive modernization of transfer agent rules. What is a transfer agent? The central institution for securities clearing and settlement. Now their work is becoming more diverse—plainly speaking, they’re increasingly handling new demand for tokenized securities. By proactively upgrading the infrastructure rules, regulators effectively signal that official securities being put on-chain is a growing trend. The compliant pathways for the RWA track are being opened up—this catalyst is substantial enough, and relevant targets can be positioned in advance. $ONDO $POLYX #RWA #SEC

SEC and the CFTC didn’t wait for Congress— they moved to advance crypto regulatory rules on their own The CLARITY Act is still stuck in the Senate, but the SEC and the CFTC didn’t wait. Both sides are pushing rulemaking forward independently. On the SEC side: On August 25, the SEC submitted a revised draft of its investment adviser and investment company custody rules to the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA) within the White House for review. The goal is to clarify how regulated entities should comply with the custody of digital assets. Meanwhile, the SEC’s “Reg Crypto” proposal was also formally published in the Federal Register, with public comments due by October 20. On the other side: Former CFTC Chair Chris Giancarlo, along with several other former SEC and CFTC officials including former Commissioner Brian Quintenz, co-signed a letter urging consistent regulation for products with similar risks—avoiding overlapping rules that would increase compliance costs. They also warned that overly burdensome regulation would keep pushing perpetual contract trading further overseas. This letter was funded by Kalshi to have a law firm draft it (the signatories themselves were not paid). Kalshi is also actively offering compliant perpetual contract products, and the call for a more lenient regulatory approach is directly beneficial to its own business—this conflict of interest shouldn’t be ignored. However, the data they provided is real: Kalshi estimates that the offshore perpetual contract trading volume in 2025 will exceed $900,000 billion. Two years ago it was about $280,000 billion—up more than threefold in two years. Whatever the position of the letter, the growth rate itself shows that during the regulatory gap, trading volumes have already “voted with their feet” and moved overseas. #SEC #CFTC #CLARITY法案 #永续合约 #加密监管
