$6.3 BILLION SECURITY INCIDENT: Binance Is Facing Its Biggest Test. But Look at How It's Standing
Let's be honest. What happened with Binance is serious. Nobody should pretend otherwise. An estimated $6.3 billion security incident is something the entire crypto industry needs to pay attention to. But there is another side of this story that deserves attention. What does an exchange do when something goes seriously wrong? Does it leave users to deal with the consequences, or does it take responsibility? Let's look at what Binance has actually done. 1. BINANCE IS TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR USER LOSSES This is probably the most important announcement. Binance has officially committed to covering all losses from its SAFU fund and company funds. Think about that for a moment. The company has publicly taken responsibility for ensuring users don't bear the financial consequences of this incident. CZ also publicly stated that he expects all user funds to be fully covered. This is the commitment I want to see from any major exchange facing a crisis. 2. APPROXIMATELY $3 BILLION IN AFFECTED ASSETS FROZEN Binance worked with blockchain partners to freeze approximately $3 billion in affected assets. Tether, Circle, Ripple and other industry participants also took action to restrict suspicious funds. This was not something one company could accomplish alone. It required coordination across the crypto ecosystem. And that's exactly why cooperation between exchanges, stablecoin issuers and blockchain intelligence firms matters. 3. SECURITY ACTIONS WERE TAKEN IMMEDIATELY Binance temporarily suspended deposits and withdrawals while security checks were being conducted. The affected address authorization was revoked. Law enforcement and blockchain intelligence partners were engaged to trace and recover the funds. Yes, temporary withdrawal restrictions can be frustrating for users. But during an active security investigation, protecting the remaining assets and preventing further unauthorized activity has to be a priority. 4. BINANCE HAS PROMISED TRANSPARENCY The exchange has also committed to publishing: A detailed technical post-mortem after the investigation. Updated Proof of Reserves after remediation. Further verified information through official channels. These are important commitments. And the community should hold Binance accountable for delivering them. Trust is not built by saying everything is fine. Trust is built by taking responsibility and showing evidence. NOW, LET'S TALK ABOUT THE OTHER SIDE OF THIS STORY. Whenever something negative happens to a major exchange, social media gets flooded with promotional messages. Some people immediately start telling users: "Move your funds to another exchange." "Binance is no longer safe." "Come to our platform instead." I have a simple question. Is every other exchange suddenly risk-free? Of course not. No centralized exchange is immune to security breaches, technical failures or operational risks. Not Binance. Not Coinbase. Not OKX. Not Bybit. An exchange that hasn't experienced a major incident yet is not automatically safer than one that has faced an incident and is taking responsibility for it. Don't let anyone turn your fear into their marketing opportunity. MY MESSAGE TO THE BINANCE COMMUNITY I have been part of this industry for more than five years. I don't believe in blindly defending any company. If Binance makes a mistake, it should be questioned. If its security systems fail, they should be improved. And if users are affected, the company must be held accountable. But I also believe that we should recognize responsible action when we see it. Binance has committed to covering all losses, worked with industry partners to freeze affected assets, involved law enforcement and promised updated Proof of Reserves. Now the company needs to deliver on these commitments. We should give the investigation room to establish the complete facts without spreading unnecessary panic. And one thing every investor should remember: Your security should never depend entirely on your loyalty to one exchange. Use proper risk management, understand custody risks and never blindly follow anyone telling you where to move your money. I stand with the Binance community, and I expect Binance to continue standing firmly with its users. Because at the end of the day, an exchange is not defined only by how it performs during good times. It's also defined by how it responds when things go wrong. What matters most to you in this situation: the exchange's security record, its financial ability to cover losses, or how it treats users during a crisis? #BİNANCE
VVV is heading back towards $34 That's my view and I'm taking an entry here Looking at how far this token has already dropped I don't think we'll see these levels again I'm placing my Stop Loss below its recent low. Let's see how this trade plays out. I'm quite confident this one will do well 🎯 Targets: $25.50 → $27 → $30 → $34 (Final Target) 🛑 Stop Loss: $20.40 If you take this trade, manage your risk. Let's see who catches this move
"Markets test an exchange during good times, but a crisis reveals what it is really made of."
The recent $6.34 billion security incident was one of the biggest tests Binance has faced.
Let's be honest, security incidents can seriously damage the reputation of any exchange. We've seen major platforms collapse in the past, leaving users with devastating losses.
But Binance's response deserves attention.
Instead of passing the financial burden to users, Binance committed to absorbing the entire loss through SAFU and its corporate resources.
By November 3, Binance reported that 98% of the affected assets had already been replenished.
That's a significant statement about financial strength and responsibility.
Of course, this incident should also be a lesson for Binance. Stronger security, better infrastructure and independent audits will be essential going forward.
But personally, I see this as an important moment in Binance's long-term journey.
Look at the bigger picture.
Binance is continuously expanding its trading ecosystem across multiple asset classes and markets. Its ambition goes far beyond being just another crypto exchange.
I believe Binance has the potential to become one of the most important global trading platforms in the coming years.
And here's where my investment conviction comes in.
I'm particularly bullish on BNB.
My long-term personal target for BNB is $5,000.
I believe that if Binance continues expanding its ecosystem and strengthening its position in the global trading industry, BNB could benefit significantly from that growth.
I'm not looking at BNB just as another crypto token. I'm looking at the long-term vision behind the entire ecosystem.
Sometimes the biggest opportunities come from recognizing the strength of a project before everyone else does.
Honestly, I think Trump's loss is good news for the crypto market.
For the last two years, I've rarely seen a politician create so much uncertainty and manipulation in financial markets.
One day a tariff announcement, the next day a sudden U-turn, then another statement that sends Bitcoin and the entire crypto market in a completely different direction.
Big players made money from these sudden moves, while ordinary traders were getting liquidated and losing their hard-earned money.
Trading should be about charts, liquidity, research and market fundamentals. Not constantly guessing what Trump will announce next.
Now that Republicans have lost control of Congress, I hope his influence over the market becomes more limited. I even expect Democrats to push for investigations into suspicious trading around major political announcements.
I genuinely hope the coming years give ordinary traders a fairer environment.
Crypto doesn't need a politician controlling the mood of the market. It needs a market where genuine traders can actually trade.
What's your take? Do you also think Trump's political setback could be good for crypto traders?
𝗟𝗢𝗦𝗧 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗘𝗬 𝗜𝗡 𝗖𝗥𝗬𝗣𝗧𝗢? 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗕𝗘𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗘 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗟𝗢𝗦𝗘 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧'𝗦 𝗟𝗘𝗙𝗧. I receive messages from people almost every day "Sir I have lost so much money" "Sir I am already in a big loss" "My financial condition was much better before entering crypto" "Sir I don't know what to do now" I want to share something with all of you. Please try to understand what I am saying. This is not some motivational speech. These are things I have understood from my own experience in this market. If I can help you with anything it is by sharing these lessons. Whether you follow them or not is completely your decision. First understand one thing Crypto is a market where you can lose your entire portfolio in a single day. Sometimes it doesn't even take a day. A few minutes can be enough if you are trading without controlling your emotions and decisions. This is like playing with fire. If you really want to make money here you first need to understand what is happening in this market. How does volume enter a token? Why do some tokens suddenly attract attention? How do whales move the market? How do big investors find opportunities? And most importantly how does retail money get trapped? I spent a lot of time trying to understand these things. I didn't enter crypto and start making money immediately. Even today I take losses. I am not a trader who wins every trade. But one thing has changed over time. I have reduced my losses and improved my ability to protect profits. Even small profits have helped me improve my financial situation slowly. And this is something I want you to understand. If you have already lost money in crypto stop making your old losses the reason for taking new risky trades. Don't enter the market every day thinking that you have to recover everything today. Consider your past mistakes as expensive lessons. Now focus on what you can do differently. Let's say you have only $10 in your portfolio. If you can make even $0.10 or $0.20 through a properly planned trade without taking unnecessary risk then understand the value of that small progress. Don't underestimate it. Tomorrow your portfolio might be $1,000. The same discipline that helped you manage a $10 portfolio can help you manage a much bigger amount. But if you cannot control your emotions with $10 then having $10,000 will not automatically solve your problem. Your capital is not your biggest strength. Your ability to manage that capital is. I have seen people make profits for one month or even two months continuously. Then a few bad trading days come and they lose everything they earned. Why does this happen? Because people start feeling overconfident after making profits. They increase their position size. They take unnecessary trades. They move their stop loss. Sometimes they even remove it completely. And one day their emotions take control. This is where the real damage happens. You might win 20 trades but one badly managed trade can destroy a big part of your portfolio. So please understand this Your first responsibility is not to make money. Your first responsibility is to protect the money you already have. Don't think that your portfolio is too small to matter. Whether you have $10, $50, $100 or $1,000 that money deserves respect. Learn to take smaller trades. Decide how much you are willing to lose before entering any trade. Keep a proper stop loss and don't risk your entire portfolio on one opportunity. Also stop taking trades just because the market is moving. Sometimes not trading is also a good trading decision. I would rather see someone take 3 quality trades in a week than take 20 random trades every day. You don't need to be active all the time. You need to be right about why you are entering a trade. And one more thing Don't expect that you will understand everything overnight. Losses will never completely disappear from trading. Even experienced traders lose money. The difference is that they know how to control their losses. If you are learning with a small portfolio then focus on learning with small amounts. Take multiple planned trades. Some will hit your stop loss and some will reach your target. Review every trade and understand what went wrong and what went right. But don't keep losing money without learning anything from it. If you lose $10 in one trade and repeat the same mistake again and again then you are not learning. You are simply paying for the same mistake repeatedly. Your goal should be to improve with every trade. I am not saying that everyone can become a profitable trader. Trading is risky and there is no guaranteed income here. Some people may never become consistently profitable despite their efforts. But if you want to give yourself a real chance then start with discipline. Love your money and respect your capital. Don't chase big profits with small experience. First learn how to survive in this market. Then focus on growing your portfolio. Because the real achievement in crypto is not making 100% in one day. The real achievement is staying in the market without destroying your financial future. I hope you understand what I am trying to explain. #vikasjangracrypto
Sometimes, the most profitable decision in trading is to stay out of the market.
Look at Bitcoin right now.
Options traders are pricing higher volatility around the US midterm elections, with Nov 4 expiry IV at 43.5% versus roughly 36% for later expiries.
At the same time, futures open interest is barely changing.
Then we have $643M in Bitcoin ETF outflows and billions in withdrawals from Binance following the recent hack.
So, we have election uncertainty, expensive downside protection, weak ETF flows and an exchange still dealing with the aftermath of a major security incident.
Now ask yourself: Is this really the kind of market where you need to force a trade?
BTC could recover once the uncertainty clears. But if selling pressure increases, another downside move is also possible.
I'd rather miss a trade than risk my capital on a setup without clear confirmation.
Cash is also a position. Protect your capital first.
Why is the crypto industry putting $170 million into the 2026 US Midterm Elections? This isn't just about politics. The results could influence how crypto is regulated in the US for the next two years. On November 3, Americans will vote in congressional midterm elections that could change control of the House and Senate. And that's where things get interesting. The next Congress will have a say in crypto market structure, DeFi regulations, taxation and the future of pending crypto legislation. The industry has already spent around $170 million through major political action committees and affiliated groups. My take: This level of spending shows how important Washington has become to the crypto industry. But spending millions to influence elections doesn't guarantee favorable crypto laws. The real test begins after the election, when lawmakers actually have to make decisions.
Zcash is approaching a critical moment. The NU7 upgrade is expected around November 5, but that doesn't mean price will automatically go up.
Here are the levels every ZEC trader should watch:
🔹 $1,383 – Breakout confirmation 🔹 $1,244 – Short-term support 🔹 $1,205 – 50-day EMA 🔹 $1,190 – Critical triangle support 🔹 $1,051 – Next major downside level
My trading approach:
• A strong daily close above $1,383 could open the way toward $1,400. • Holding $1,205 keeps the bullish structure intact. • A daily close below $1,190 would weaken the setup and expose $1,051.
There's another thing worth watching: US ZEC ETF inflows have continued for seven trading days, but daily inflows have slowed significantly.
My view: I'm watching ZEC closely, but I won't chase the price before breakout confirmation.
