Today I’m sharing my outlook through the end of the year.
Bitcoin. The U.S. midterm elections are on November 3. There’s a very high probability Trump will lose. And after the September rate hike, a rally in risk assets just doesn’t make sense. It’s simply a short squeeze.
The U.S.-Iran war is escalating, and oil prices are soaring. Now all Bitcoin needs to fall is a news catalyst. Between October 24 and November 10, a sharp crash is bound to happen in the next few days. If Bitcoin holds 75,000–73,000, there could still be another rally, with a high around 90,000. Don’t even wonder about the rate-hike outlook for December—it’s certain there’ll be a hike. Even if rates aren’t raised in October, the Fed will make extremely hawkish remarks. So if you’re planning to trade, manage your position size carefully. You can’t bet against tomorrow’s news-driven market moves. I said two things were certain. If I’m wrong, I won’t post another update.

Any one of these events could send prices down by $3,000–$5,000. Keep your positions small over the next few days and keep your hands off the controls. Don’t make random moves. Wait until it reaches the right level before entering.
As I said in my very first post, 57,700 isn’t the bottom. This could drag on for half a year. Next time it gets to 50,000 or 40,000, I’ll buy even if I have to sell my wife to do it.$XAG
