🚨 ICBA OPPOSES CLARITY ACT OVER STABLECOIN “LOOPHOLE” The Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) is pushing back against the Digital Asset Market CLARITY Act, arguing that its current stablecoin provisions could leave a loophole for crypto companies to offer interest-like rewards or yield on payment stablecoins. 🏦 Why are banks concerned? ICBA says yield-bearing stablecoins could compete directly with traditional bank deposits.
