#JapanMOFStudyGroupOnTokenizedGovtBonds Objective: The group will evaluate the core benefits, technical costs, and broader market impacts of transitioning JGB transactions to an on-chain environment. A primary goal is shifting from the traditional next-business-day (T+1) settlement framework to continuous, instantaneous (T+0) processing. This transition would allow JGB to be used immediately as digital collateral in repo transactions.
