Traders expect a 6-7% move after earnings, putting shares between $650 and $738.
History says expect more. $META has beaten the options estimate in about 75% of its recent reports.
Here are the 4 numbers to watch:
1. Revenue: Wall Street wants around $63.3 billion. Anything above $64 billion shows the ad business is still booming.
2. EPS: Expect around $3.60, down from about $6.60, due to a one-time roughly $10 billion legal settlement. Check the number without it.
3. 2027 AI spending: This is the big one. Wall Street expects around $193 billion on AI. Near that figure means a relief rally. Well above it means a sell-off.
4. Free cash flow: This is the cash left after spending, and it fell to just $784 million last quarter. Investors want to see a recovery.
Strong revenue plus steady spending would be bullish. Higher spending would be bearish.
Save this post. We will update it the moment Meta reports.
🚨Bitcoin's next big move may be brewing beneath the calm.
BlackRock's IBIT attracted $665 million on October 19, its largest daily inflow in Bitcoin terms since April 2025. A separate report added nearly $30 million more in inflows today.
Meanwhile, Bitcoin remains trapped between $80,000 and $84,000, with daily spot trading volume averaging just $2.5 billion.
BTC's 28-day realized volatility has fallen to just 1.2%, near its lowest level of 2026. K33 Research expects bigger price swings after this unusually quiet period, with two major catalysts approaching: the Federal Reserve's rate decision on October 28, and the U.S. midterm elections on November 3.
Bitcoin's correlation with the Nasdaq is also getting stronger, making broader stock market sentiment increasingly important.
With major catalysts approaching, the next move could reveal whether that demand is strong enough to fuel a sustained recovery.
Bitcoin gave us a quick rally today, but the timing matters.
Headlines around possible progress between the US and Iran hit, oil eased from a major resistance area and Bitcoin immediately pushed higher into the 83k to 84k orderzone.
I don’t see that as a coincidence.
The optimism didn’t last long. Reuters is now reporting that negotiations remain stuck, with Iranian officials deliberately prolonging talks ahead of the US midterms. Brent is also still sitting above $108, so the geopolitical and inflation pressure has not disappeared.
Back to the chart.
Bitcoin wicked straight into resistance and was sold back down.
The first area I’m watching now is around 82k. If that starts failing, 80.3k remains the critical support underneath.
If buyers want control back, BTC needs to reclaim 83.5k to 84k first.
Key levels:
• Resistance: 83.5k to 84k • Current support: around 82k • Critical support: 80.3k • Major support below: 75k to 76k • Major resistance: 86k to 87.3k
For me, the headline move was useful because it showed exactly where sellers are still waiting.
The macro pressure has not gone away.
Now I’m watching whether 82k holds or Bitcoin heads back for another test of 80.3k.
