Creating payment applications and treasury products on Sui just became much easier, as developers no longer have to design their systems around a bridge. This improvement comes courtesy of the newly launched CCTP V2 on the Sui network. Thanks to this release, native USDC is now fully capable of moving fluidly between Sui and 29 other supported blockchains. The transfer mechanism is straightforward, operating by having the tokens burned on the initial source chain and then directly minted on Sui.
