The popularity of memecoin trading and speculation on Solana propelled on-chain volumes to a record high, surpassing $3.79B on Friday, according to DefiLlama data.
This figure exceeded the blockchain's previous all-time high of $2.85B set earlier this month.
Additionally, the seven-day moving average of active addresses on Solana surged, reaching 1.2M, the highest level since approximately June 2022.
