What happens when a coin loses more than half its value in a single day — and everyone goes quiet?

No futures open interest. Zero funding. That’s not a panic crash — it’s a coin falling in a vacuum.

That means the speculators have already left. No one’s paying to be short. No one’s paying to be long. Price is sliding on spot selling alone.

And the chart agrees. $WTC printed nine red candles out of the last twelve on the 4H, including a 59% collapse in the most recent one. RSI is buried near 20 on every timeframe — oversold, but oversold can stay oversold for a long time.

The daily picture is the cleanest read: EMA7 is miles below EMA25 — a classic strong downtrend. There’s also an unfilled gap near 0.054–0.058, which can act as a magnet if price ever stabilizes. Right now, it’s not even close.

The level that matters: if $WTC can’t reclaim around 0.011 on a daily close, the path of least resistance stays lower — toward 0.009. Lose that, and the weekly chart opens up levels near 0.0065. The invalidation is simple: a daily close back above 0.0113 would be the first real sign of a bottom forming.

My read: this is a falling knife with no hands trying to catch it. The real risk isn’t more downside — it’s mistaking a dead-cat bounce for a reversal. Wait for structure, not hope.
