Standard Chartered announced Monday that eligible institutional clients can use the bank's Dubai custody service for Ripple USD (RLUSD) on the XRP Ledger. A planned integration with LMAX Group would let clients use RLUSD as collateral for agreed LMAX products while the tokens remain at the bank. Standard Chartered said the integration remains subject to final documentation, testing and regulatory approvals, with no launch date given. RLUSD has a market capitalization of roughly $2.45 billion, still under 1% of the roughly $306 billion stablecoin market.
