April was brutal. $650M drained from crypto. $610M of that was just waller compromises. KiloEx and drift got hit for $291M plus $285M.
At what point do we admit self-custody is broken for regular people? Or is this just the cost of being your own bank?
Brutal truth: Institution won't touch DeFi if we keep losing $600M/month. Doesn't matter how "decentralized" it is if users get rekt.
