On one side, the buyback proposal passed. Protocol revenue will be used to buy ENA from the open market.
Sounds good. But there’s a condition most people skip.
The buyback only starts when USDe supply reaches $7.5B.
On October 7, DefiLlama showed it at about $4.98B.
So the switch exists. It’s just still off.
On the other side, the final investor tranche, about 1.41B ENA, unlocked on October 5. StablecoinX’s lock on roughly 3B ENA ended the same day.

Unlocked doesn’t mean sold.
But the door to selling is no longer shut.
So my question isn’t “is the buyback good or bad?”
It’s: who gets there first? The buyback trigger, or the selling pressure?
I’m watching one thing: whether USDe supply is actually moving toward $7.5B. If it isn’t, the buyback stays on paper.

ENA just did the thing dip-buyers dream about — and I'm still not calling it a reversal.

I'm watching $ENA because it dipped toward $0.184, then reclaimed $0.20 on a 50-million-token candle, well above the 30-million average, and has printed three straight closes above $0.20 since. It's $0.2071 now, up about 9% in 24 hours on $29M of Binance spot volume.

The sequence matters more than any single candle. First the flush to $0.184, then the reclaim above $0.20, then the hold above it. That's a staircase back up, not one green candle.

The part that keeps me from getting comfortable: this coin fell from near $0.27 earlier in October to about $0.176. Reclaims inside downtrends fail all the time, and a close back under $0.196 re-opens $0.184 fast.

My lines: support $0.196, resistance $0.209. A 4-hour close under $0.196 breaks the reclaim story.

先说解锁。按@SherifDefi的说法，10月5日月度投资人解锁结束，剩下的一次性放出；@Mihawk_Research给的数是约14.1亿枚，提前了大概17个月。这叫利空出尽？这是把17个月的抛压一次性变成能随时卖的筹码。锁没了，卖不卖、什么时候卖，全看老投资人心情。基金会确实OTC回收了一部分，但回了多少、什么价，喊单的帖子没一个讲清楚。

再说回购。费用开关是过了，条件是USDe供应到75亿美元，才拿基金会95%净收入去回购。现在USDe多少？各号口径46亿、47亿、49亿都有，按@bayramrozy的说法还得涨约60%才开始。所以"回购"现在是一张期票，不是买盘。

更搞的是那种帖：开头"ENA is holding up well"，讲两句解锁和回购，话锋一转开始推hyENA吉祥物币。226浏览，48条回复。拿正经项目的叙事给自己的土狗抬轿，这套路见太多了。

顺带一提，Hayes 10月24日清仓那波里就有约1400万ENA。

USDe是真有人用的产品，这个我不黑。但别把"哪天可能回购"当成今天上车的理由。
